Chapter 23

Tyler's POV
I came out of the gym right next too mystic grills and saw Stefan with rose, wait what, how do they know eachother, is she compeled by him, whats going on, i thought to myself.so I started to walk towards them. "No fucking way" I said behind them.

They both turned around and rose smiled at me, my heart bursted into butterflies, I don't know why but there's something about rose that I like so much but I just don't know what.

"Hey tyler" She said smiling at me, I heard Stefan mumble something to her but I couldn't hear it for some reason. I pulled rose in for a hug and dam she is so perfect.

"So how do you guys know eachother" i said to them.
"Well you see um, he is my brother." She playing with her fingers and looking down.

"Oh dam, well I'll see you guys later then." I said as i walked away from them.

"Brother!?, What since when do they have a sister" I said and started to walk home, I went upstairs to my fathers study and started to take out boxes of  family pictures from the 18th century, I don't know why I started to do that but I had a weird feeling.

I was looking Thur photo after photo and I finally saw it, it was rose and my great great great great grandfather Jacob, how could it be, how does she know him, they look like they use to date, i had so many questions running Thur my head I didn't know what to do.

I looked at the picture closely and she had a ring on her finger, "Wait what" I said to myself and I turned the photo around and it said....

My dear beloved rose today was the day I proposed too you without no one knowing, we have plans too run away together, to get away from the rules and everything, even tho I'm 18 and your 16, yes we are young but our love is true and pure, Id never loved someone liked you before your the love of my life and I'm glad too call you mine.....

Did he write that to himself or what I thought to myself and then. I found this old journal on the bottom of the box, I went to the last few pages  that said....

-The day i saw something evil-
Today I saw rose fighting with her father from my window, she started crying and yelling at him because he shot Damon and Stefan, she didn't like that at all, she grabbed the gun away from mr Salvatore, and that's when I knew I fell for someone that is evil, that makes her the same level her father was because she killed him, I ran out of the house but it was too late, she was smiling but crying at her fathers dead body and covered in blood. I backed away from her but she saw me, she was pleading for forgiveness from me, she wanted to spend the rest of her life with me, it hurted me too see her in this much pain but she is evil. I couldn't handle her anymore, she was begging on her knees but I just walked away and threw the bracelet she gave me on the floor, I wanted to say it's okay it's not your fault, but I was scared.

"Wtf she killed her dad" I whispered too myself. "No that can't be right." I said as I turned the page and sat down on my fathers desk.

-The day she got away-
A couple of  days passed by after everything and I heard a knock on the door, I went to go check it out and saw her, she looked dead, there was still blood on her clothes, her skin was paler then before and she had red puffy eyes from crying too much. I hugged her, cause that's all I could of done,she pulls away and gives me the ring back, she gave me a sorry look but turned mad real fast, her last words where, "I hope I never see you again, you are dead to me Jacob, I wish I would've never even met you." When She said that I was crushed, my heart broke into a million pieces and that was the day she ran away, and I could of done something about it but I was so so so so stupid, I loved her why did I let her go.....

I was reading that and my mom knocked on the door, "hey sweetie" she said smiling at me and leaning against the door frame, "yes mom" I said looking at her. "Dinners ready and please don't make a mess in here." She said giving me a simpatic look. "Don't worry mom I won't" I said and smiled

"Okay I'll see you later they want me back at the office." She said. "Again" I said,

"Yes again I'm so sorry sweetie" she said coming towards me giving me a hug and a kiss on top of my head. "Ooo your looking Thur Jacobs diary" she said.

"Yes I am and what ever happened to rose ma" I said looking at her.

"Well people said that she found someone new and ran off with them, or she died" she said and walked out of the room.

I turned the pages and there was no more writing left, but I started to dig in the box and found her wedding ring in the corner, "gottcha" I said smiling as I looked at it.

I texted rose and told her too meet me at the town center where the big tree is at, she agreed too meet me and I put the ring in my pocket and started to head towards the center, "oh this is gonna be good", I said too myself laughing.
