Annabeth's POV

//Olympus//

After Gaia's defeat

We had won the war. We had successfully defeated Gaia but the cost was too high. Leo. Campers on both sides and... Percy. How I just missed his carefree smile and behavior. Even in this ominous mood he could have done something to cheer us up. All the demigods were gathered at Olympus and the Seven were sitting under their parent's throne.

The celebration was to take place after the awarding ceremony. Honestly, it would have reminded me of The Titan War celebration had it not been for the number of demigods and Percy's absence. He sacrificed himself to save Olympus yet again. I hate him for being so loyal, why couldn't he be selfish sometimes?

"We have successfully defeated Gaia and I want to thank the demigods without whom winning the war would have been very hard......"

"Very hard?" Poseidon said grimly.

"Nearly impossible." Zeus grumbled.

"What?"

"Without whom winning the war would have been impossible. We are here to give the Seven and others rewards for their contributions. Jason Grace, my son."

Jason stepped up to the centered and bowed to the council.

"We will offer you the greatest reward of all. Would you like to become a god?" Jason nervously looked towards Piper.

"Do not worry Jason, all of the remaining Seven, Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano and Nico di Angelo will be given the same thing."

"I accept my lord."

All the gods shot some colored beams out of their hands.

"I give you, Jason Grace, minor god of lightning and heroes."

Similarly, the Piper, Frank, Nico, Reyna and Hazel were made minor gods of charm, transformation and war, underworld, courage  and riches respectively. All of them were gods of heroes as well. Then,

"Annabeth Chase, my daughter." I heard Mom say.

I stepped up to the center and bowed.

"We would like to make you a god, Annabeth."

"I accept mother, but I have a special request. Since, Per... he is not here I would like to use his reward for something that he would have wanted." My voice broke when I was about to say Percy's name. I could see that his name affected all the gods in some manner. Poseidon, Aphrodite and Hermes seemed the most sad.

"What do you want daughter?"

"I want Lord Hades and Lady Hestia's thrones to be restored on the council.'

"Your wish shall be granted. All in favor?" Zeus said. All the gods raised there hands and 2 thrones, one pitch black with gems embedded and one which was made of flames entirely popped up on the right and left sides of Zeus.

"I don't know how to thank you, Annabeth Chase." Hades said.

"You could tell me whether Percy is alive."

"I don't know. I have no connection to Tartarus."

I nodded and then went to sit down on my mother's throne's steps.

"The survivors of the Titan War will be granted partial immortality. The remaining Seven along with Nico di Angelo  will become the guardians of the camp. Does anyone have anything to say or object to?" Zeus' expression said, If you do then you will taste my bolt. After a minute of silence, "Let the celebrations begin!"

The Throne room was emptied and all the people moved into a huge party hall. Some started dancing happily, while others were just dancing with absent minds. I didn't feel like dancing so I went to the Garden and sat there on the bench.

"Sad times aren't they? We won the war but still it feels like something is missing."

I turned around to see Poseidon standing in his Bermuda shirt and shorts.

"Lord Poseidon." I bowed.

"Don't bow to me child. Had it not been for Gaia someday you would be getting married to my son. "

I was just shocked when he said this. I had not thought about marriage with Percy and now he was just gone.

"I knew my son Annabeth. Soon after the war he would have asked the blessing of your mother to marry you."

I said nothing hust imagining how life would have been if I married Seaweed Brain.

"Many of us have been affected by his death, even Zeus. He might not admit it but he had begun to like Perseus."

With that the silence reigned once again.

"I have to go now child. Promise me, that for my son you will help all those demigods that feel neglected and cheated." He disappeared in a flash and I closed my eyes on instinct.

I just sat on the bench thinking how life would be without Percy, and in my wondering I did not realize when I drifted into the realm of Morpheus.

** Time Skip **

400 Years Later

It was the 400th anniversary of the Giant War. The camp was bustling with activity while its immortal campers were sitting in a tight circle remembering the greatest hero alive. Perseus Jackson. My boyfriend. I did not have any relationship because even after 400 years I was still not over Percy.

It was rather depressing being immortal. You saw so many campers come and go, either killed by monsters on quests or by natural deaths. The only cheerful thing that happened was that Leo had somehow returned and Apollo who had been turned a mortal because of Octavian had become a god again. All the immortal campers were here as the monster activity had increased in recent times. It was pointing towards another war but I hoped that another war did not happen.

Also because there was only one camp. Camp Hero. After the war, the gods had decided to join the two camps as our numbers had reduced drastically. The new campers did not know Percy and they just heard the stories.

We were just sitting around the fire when the camp horn blasted through the air. 2 times. That meant an unknown person. Probably a half blood. Not a monster. That's 3 times.

A guard came running to us, "Ladies and Lords, the person wants you to be present there."

"Who is it?"

"We don't know."

"Who does he think he is? Calling us there? Tell him to come here." That was Jason.

"He said, that he wants you there or there will be consequences."

A threat that meant someone powerful.

"Jason, shut it. We're going there." Piper said with her voice full with charm speak. They had broken up after Jason said that he liked Reyna. From then on, they rarely talked and whenever Jason came up to her, she would kick him in the place where the sun doesn't shine or ignore him. He couldn't retaliate because he knew that it was his fault.

We started walking towards the hill where we saw a man in a black coat petting Peleus. That was not possible. Peleus only allowed people who's scent he recognised to stay near him or the fleece. You must be wondering how Peleus is still alive? He was granted immortality as well.

"Who are you?" I said alerting the stranger to our presence.

He got up ever so slowly and said, "Well hello campers. I see you look exactly as Percy Jackson described you to me."
