Ashley's mom was returning from the office after finishing the load, totally tired but had enough energy to have a nice talk with her daughter. She reached the door but before she could knock a tall quite good looking Asian guy opens the door for her and before she could even say anything he greets her in Japanese and escorts her to the breakfast table. The impressed Japanese mom sits down for breakfast but she still desperately wants to head towards the bed. While having the breakfast the thought of her daughter comes to her mind, and asks where Ashley is. Oliver replies that when went upstairs to get ready for her mother's approval. Shirley asks Oliver "Approval?","Well..."
"Mommy!" Exclaimed Ashley as if she haven't seen her mother for centuries. "You're here! I missed you sooo much." "I missed you more sweetheart." The mother and daughter talked a lot like they usually do. Then Oliver interrupts them and turns to Mom and says- " Ashley's Mom, Shirley Fenette. I would like to say something, well rather I would like to ask your permission if I can take your beloved daughter to a date?" Then he turns to Ashley and further says- " Ashley I promise not to break your heart, and treat you well. Would you like to go out with me?". Shirley was impressed by Oliver's move. Not only he's smart but also he's a very responsible person on whom one could rely on. She doesn't have any problem with Oliver since she had known him from his childhood.She allows the two to date. Ashley was ready in a pretty blue flowy dress , and says YES to Oliver and then they head to door where Oliver opens the door for her. How cliché?
