- Before we start our reading this morning - Don started the morning speech. He's one of the producers in charge - I want to welcome, to this table, our new image director - he looks at me - welcome Madelaine - just when everyone starts clapping, I start to blush.

- Thank you, guys - I'm surprised with myself for even being able to speak. I feel like I'm chocking.

- Madelaine as some ideas - he looks around - and, when we finish the reading and discuss some ideas for the first episode we're going to shoot, she'll discuss them with you and the rest of the producers. I think we're going to start a new era on Shadowhunters - we are at a square table, by my side I have another director and the table ends with her. At the other edge of the square, sitting across the director, it's Dominic.

We spent the next two hours reading and reciting some parts of the episode they have to shoot this week. It's the first of the season and everyone is so excited. They've spent the last week doing some rehearsals of some of the scenes they're going to shoot. Between breaks for some exchange of thoughts, some notes and ideas that I wrote down on my notebook, I feel like my ass it's flat from being sit down for so long.

- Lady director - Don says, looking at me as the others: David and Martin - we're ready for you - after a small smile, and making me laugh, he sits and stares at me.

- Alright - I stood up, finally! I grabbed three paper rolls A0 that I had from the beginning on the desk. I walk to the end of the room, making everyone look at me - before anything else, I want to let everyone know that I'm here to do my best, to give everything I have for this show, the cast and crew - they all smiled, just staring at me. This makes me even more nervous. I look at Emeraude, right in front of me, that gives me a nod as a sign of encouragement - one of the things I have in mind, for us to work together, it's the new intro. It was something the previous director was working on, and something I've been working this weekend nonstop - true... I've spent the weekend working on this. Day and night. I grabbed one of the paper rolls, opening it to attach to the wall behind me - my drawings are just sketches but, to change, we need to create a more clean intro. The old one was good... but there was too many information and the most important was left behind - I look at my draws. I had drawn everyone; to show them the idea I want - the details of the characters, what makes every single one unique - I look at them, focusing at Em - for example, Izzy - it's easier to explain with her as an example - everything we need is a badass outfit, a wind machine for her hair and make a big plan at her bracelet.

Every single one of them is looking at my sketches. Probably seeing what I've emphasized for each one of them. Emeraude was smiling and looking at me and the other were smiling too.

- It's all yours - Martin says - the intro it's in your hands. You can ask for a studio, all the materials you need and schedule with everyone to shoot. Please, guys, work with the girl and make her work easier - everyone laughs and, at the same time, agrees with him.

- Thank you - I take a deep breath. With my confidence super high, ready to deliver the other idea I have. Maybe the most extravagant.

- Your drawings are really good - he says again.

- Thanks. Before the photography school, I went to the college for design - I make it clear. I think my promotion wasn't that random.
