It's Thursday morning. Two days went by since I left the note for my secret admirer. And I haven't had any response from him. Either flowers... he didn't leave any this week, and I just hope I didn't push him away.
Emeraude told me he wanted to give me flowers, but there was some kind of problem with him on Tuesday morning and, now, he's waiting for the next Tuesday. George handed him my note, and he said that the person was really pleased with my gesture. I want to believe in them, but I really miss his tenderness; and I'm starting to hate both Emeraude and George for knowing who he is and not tell me anything about him.
- Cut, cut, cut. It's not working – we have been shooting in the same spot since 8 a.m.; it's now 11:15 and we were supposed to be shooting another amazing scene, in another location with Em and Kat, but now that scene is going to be in the afternoon, after the lunch break – Dominic – the director calls him – Jace needs to be even more vulnerable – I'm following Dominic's shoots today. They are full of fights, lots of blood and many emotional things. First thing in the morning, his character was being beaten by his father and other bad people.
Now we are shooting an even more emotional scene. Jace – Dominic's character – is meeting his father for a meal, a little sore but already healed. Then Jace tries to kill his father, completely vulnerable. His father tells him some emotional things, sharing memories with him about how he was genetically changed during pregnancy revealing that he has demon blood.
- He's discovering some deep secrets, that will mess with his head – the director continues – I need to see Jace emotional as we never saw him.
- Let's try again – Dominic says and, after adjusting positions, they start to record again.
As I see them acting, Dominic is getting into a zone of pure emotions, rawness and I can tell everyone is out of breath during the scene. He doesn't cry, that was never the point, but it's all in his face, in those eyes. I really think that it is done; the scene is perfect, if I were the director, I wouldn't say a word after this.
- Cut! It's perfect! Excellent, excellent job! Everyone can go now, have some lunch! – everyone claps their hands, and start to leave.
I see everyone leaving the studio, except Dominic; who is sitting on the floor, in the middle of the décor. I let everyone out, just to see if he stays... and he does.
- Hey – I sit on the floor, in front of him, the closer to his feet's as I possible can. He's with his knees bended, grabbing them with his arms – is everything okay? – he looks at me, since until now he was always with his head down.
- You – I shrug my shoulders, crossing my legs.
- Do you want me to leave? – he simply nods a no with his head, reaching for me with his hand. I hold her, and he starts caressing mine with his thumb – it was a rough morning, right?
- And the day is far from over. Jace is in a very emotional place, I'm on the edge of my emotions too – shit maybe because of the things he says he feels for me and our conversation last Friday.
- I think you need some food – I stand up, trying to pull him out of that emotional zone he is in, pulling his hand with mine – let's have lunch and, then, I'll make you crêpes on Em's trailer – he smiles, standing up and keeping our hands together – nothing like a good dose of sugar can't handle.
- You don't need to do anything...
- But I want to. We're friends now – we both smile, but I really meant what I'm saying – let's go – I let his hand go, starting my way out of the studio, in hopes he follows me.
