"NOO" I sobbed, my chest hurting from everything, I never knew heart break was a real thing "come on babes" Robert picked me up "no, no, no!" I fought him off, "COME ON" he grabbed hold of my hair and dragged me backwards, out of nowhere, a rush of pure adrenaline surged through my body, I flipped myself around and kicked his legs from underneath him and climbed on top of him, he grabbed my side and dug in his fingers into my glass cut "AHH" I rolled off him as he sat on my stomach, his fingers still in place "get off me!" I tried to push his fingers away "you will be mine! You WILL be mine!" He went down to kiss me, he crushed his lips to mine, forcing his tongue into my mouth, I bit down, as hard as I could, he threw his head back in pain as I spat what I had bitten off, this was enough to get him off me.

I saw my opportunity, I ran and rugby tackled him to the floor, and punched, and punched and hit as hard as I could until he no longer moved, I looked aver at Carter before feeling for a pulse on Robert, luckily there were still a pulse, but it was extremely weak. I opened up his shirt and there, on his chest, over his heart was a monitor linked to Carter's collar, if I took it off him Carter would lose is head, I took my shirt off over my head and laid down on top of Robert carefully I peeled it off him and stuck it straight to my chest, and quickly looked at Carter. No explosion.

As I got up I was grabbed back down by Robert "game over" I looked at him as he looked at me, his eyes suddenly widened as I pushed the blade from his pocket further into his chest "like I said, I'm killing you, and we are walking out of here" I got off him and stood there looking at him before I ran over to Carter and felt for a pulse "hey! Wake up wake up!" I shuck him gently "Becca...." He said weakly "hey hey, come on, helps coming!" I smiled at him as I wiped the tears away from his face "get this collar off me..." He wheezed as I went behind his back and looked at it "you cut...the wrong wire..he dies..." Robert turned his head to us "which wire?" I looked at him he just laughed at me, I walked over to him and held onto the handle of the knife "which wire?" "I will never tell" I went close to his ear "I have ways of making you talk" I twisted the blade, he cried out in pain "WHICH WIRE!?" I said again "boom" he laughed as I stabbed the knife in a different place and twisted before getting off him and ringing Harry.

"Becca!? Where are you?!" "Harry which wire do I cut!!?" I sobbed down the phone "Becca? Becca where are you?!?" I rested my head on Eric's kissing his forehead "for fuck safe Harry if I don't get this thing off him he's going to DIE! I've got a monitor on my heart, if it stops beating it'll explode" There was a pause "right, we have your location, can you see a blue wire?" I looked as close as I could "nooo....no there's no blue.." "Red? Tell me what you can see?" I looked at it all "okay, I can see....I can see a yellow, orange and green wire" "right Becca stay calm and cut the orange wire" I took a breath as I held the wire in my hand "I love you" I whispered in his ear as I sliced the wire in two "what's happening?" I watched as something clicked and a timer turned to 1.00 "Harry!!!! There's a timer!! I only have 50 seconds left...49...48" "right Becca cut the yellow wire!!" I did it quickly "Harry it's gone down to 30!" Carter woke up, his piercing blue eyes looking up at me "I'll get you out of here "Becca?" "Yeah?" "I need you to do something" Harry spoke softly "what anything?!" "Take the monitor off your chest..." I paused as I looked down at my chest "Harry that'll kill him!" I looked at Carter, drifting in and out of consciousness "Becca, it'll give you 10 seconds to get it off and run...can you do it!" I looked down, and in a moment of madness I ripped it from my chest, the collar dropped on the floor as I grabbed Carter, carefully and quickly we ran out of the building, I had one last look at Robert, his eyes glistening as a single tear ran down his cheek.

We leapt out of the building as the fire engulfed the structure, I was covering Carter "hey!" I slapped him slightly "brought that a little close didn't you?" He smiled wearily as I kissed him, so hard I never wanted to part.

The doctors rushed him to the room and moved him to a different bed his sheets were covered in blood, "okay agent Carter you have lost a lot of blood, I'm doctor lambert and I need to look inside your mouth" he looked at him "no" he muffled "DETECTIVE I need you to open your mouth!" He turned his head away from him "don't you understand, you have swallowed too much blood, I need to open your mouth" he went to handle him but Carter pushed him away "back off!" I ran to his side "Carter...after I need you to listen to the doctor okay!" He turned to look at me, his piercing blue eyes slowly fading "okay" he croaked "agent Harding we need to treat you" a different doctor came up to me and took me to another room.

They stitched my leg, my glass cut and anything else that was a slit concern before they let me go back to Carter, "hey" I said quietly "hey" he smiled weakly, they'd cleaned him up, only the few cuts in his cheeks, his lip was slightly swollen but he still looked gorgeous "listen, I know what you're going through" "I really hope that you never do" he replied instantly as a tear rolled down my cheek "well whenever you want to talk about it, I'm here...I'm always here for you" "I just, I wanna get away from it, you know everything" I looked at him "and everyone?" I raised my eyebrows at him, hurt, he tilted his head I went toot walk out to grab a drink "bec...I just want you to know, the place my head went to, to stop all the pain...was you...and I just, I just err, I just kept thinking about your smile, your laugh....everything...it's the only thing that got me through.....
