Currently I was sitting in my Communications Class that I had with Zach Dempsey, Clay Jensen, Sheri Holland, Hannah Baker and my bestfriend Justin Foley
Mine and Justin's friendship go back to the seventh grade when He got lost and I helped him and ever since then we've been bestfriends
Today seemed like an ordinary day, until everyone's phone started going off. Then I got the notification that everyone seemed to be getting.
I wanted to see what all the commotion was about so I quickly took out my phone and open up the message that was sent to me by my own bestfriend.
Shock immediately runs over my face as my mouth is left slightly agape as to what I am seeing
"Seriously Justin?" I said looking to my left, to see that he was already staring at me "why would you send that?"
All he did was shrug his shoulders then look in another direction. I took a glance behind me seeing that he was looking at Hannah Baker the girl that was in the picture
She looked so hurt. She had her head down and I don't even think she seen the picture yet, but she probably already knows what all the commotion was about.
In the picture it was Hannah on a slide, more specifically going down a slide. I guess since she had a dress on it went up a little while she went down the slide revealing her underwear.
"People phones other wise there going away, last chance." Mrs. Bradly warned the class.
Sitting at the three desk table with me, one of my bestfriends and fellow cheer sisters Sheri Holland. And then Clay Jensen whom I've only spoken to at Kats going away party
Clays phone then went off, and almost immediately he pulled it out phone from his pocket. I couldn't really make out his face expression I don't now if he was hurt, shocked, or mad.
He then looked at Hannah Baker who also made eye contact with him but kept her head down
Sheri also got the text after Clay looking in Justin's direction "What an asshole"
When class ended which felt like forever I looked around for Justin but he had already left. So I quickly go looking for him only to find him with the Jocks by a set of lockers and they seemed to be still looking at Hannah's picture.
"Justin what the fuck is wrong with you" I said pushing him into the lockers
"Ouu someone's mad you better make it up too her Foley" Bryce said
I look to my right and rolled my eyes at him "shut up Bryce" saying that only made him chuckle
"Why would you send that picture around?" I said "why would you even take it?"
"Aye chill out" he said as if he didn't care "why are you even worried about it you don't even know her"
I rolled my eyes at the dumb boy that I call my bestfriend "I'm worried because this is probably gonna be her reputation for now on at this school"
"And what would that reputation be exactly" he asked dumbfounded
"The school slut" Montgomery said earning laughs from all the Jocks expect. And I didn't tell Montgomery to shut up like I always do, but from here on out that's most likely gonna be Hannah's reputation at Liberty High School
Bryce pulled out his phone again to stare at the photo of Hannah with his fellow Jocks
I looked at Justin "you need to apologize to her Justin" I said before walking off
