"Hi, what can I get you?"
"Um a large cola would be nice and a medium sized popcorn please."
"Alright," I said with a smile.
Currently I am working my night shift at the Crestmont with my friends Hannah Baker and Clay Jensen.
I handed the man his cola, "Here you go" I said "And enjoy your movie."
"God Y/n you don't have to be this nice to the customers," Clay said making a laugh slip past my lips.
"Oh Clay," Hannah chimed running her hand through his hair, "Yes we do."
Clay was about to say something back to Hannah, but we heard the bell ring indicating that someone had just walk in.
"Aye guys look it's Hannah big butt!" One of the guys said and of course when I turned my head it was Bryce Walker.
"You can take this one, there your friends." Hannah said walking to the popcorn machine where Clay was.
When they reached the counter I greeted them "Hey guys." I said looking at my boyfriend who was also with them, Montgomery De La Cruz.
"Hey, y/n" Scott said sending a smile in my direction, me doing the same.
"Hey baby." Montgomery said reaching over the counter me doing the same, pecking his lips.
"Okay so what do you guys want?" I asked looking at all the guys who were here being Montgomery, Bryce, Justin, Zach, Alex, and Scott.
When they gave me their order me, Clay and Hannah worked our job and got them all the snacks they needed for their movie. Me and Hannah were making jokes while getting popcorn for the guys. Me and Clay handed them all there snacks they paid for.
I then meet Montgomery on the side of the counter where we were face to face now. He pulled me in for a hug kissing my lips.
"I don't want you talking to them." He said only for me to hear.
I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion, "Who? Hannah and Clay?"
He looked Where Hannah and Clay were then back at me "Yes, Hannah and Cory." He said making me giggle at how he pronounced Clays name.
"Well... I mean I work with them Monty," I smiled trying to lighten the mood and hopefully kinda change his mind.
He pecked my lips, but before he could speak again Bryce came out of no where and interrupted, "Y/n we just don't want you to be labeled as a loser, that's all." he said placing his arm on Montgomery's shoulder.
I rolled my eyes at Bryce, bringing my attention back on Monty, "Montgomery I'm not gonna be labeled as a loser if I hang out with them. If you actually take the time to get to know them they're cool people." I said becoming a little annoyed with my boyfriend.
Bryce let out a chuckle "Cool? Clay Jensen? Y/n come on now." He said said nudging my shoulder.
"Yes Clay Jensen is cool, just take the time to get to know him." I said becoming loose from Montgomery's grasp.
"Anyways, I'm done with this conversation."
"Babe I-
"I have to get back too work." I said going back to the cash register.
"Damn Monty you made her mad, you better go make it up too her." Bryce said shoving Monty.
"Me bro that was you!" Montgomery said while laughing. Does he really think this is a joke?
"Come on guys the movie is about to start!" Zach yelled across the theater lobby.
"Babe wait for us out here when the movie ends?" Montgomery asked me.
I looked at him and put on a fake reassuring smile "Yeah, sure" I said restocking the napkins.
"Okay" he said pecking my lips once again from across the counter.
"Assholes." I heard Clay say to the left of me.
"Definitely."
