Sophie's POV

Usually when a guy asks a girl out on a date, the girl turns her wardrobe upside down trying to find the perfect, sexy outfit for the date to impress or seduce the guy, I didn't do that. I knew Ben would act that he liked it even if I put on a potato sack. I didn't need to impress or seduce Ben because he's always been so into me for no reason. He became sweeter, kinder and much more romantic since we've started dating.

And I don't like it.

Because I know Bennett, he's putting up this perfect boyfriend act because he doesn't want me to break up with him until he uses me and gets what he wants and I know it. I'm not the first and surely not the last. And if I broke up with him now I'll pay for it, literally.

I owe him and dating him is my payback. That's why I said before that the relationship was forced.

I know I said I didn't have to dress up but I really loved that, dressing up for the date was better than the date itself or any event. A date wasn't even an event for me but I loved looking good nonetheless.

I chose a black knee length off-shoulder classy dress, it looked so simple and delicate, That's why I loved that dress.

I'm the worst when it came to putting on some makeup. I never gave up until that day that I decided to imitate one of James Charles's make-up tutorial videos... don't ask me why. Anyways, I did everything in the tutorial and managed to look like Pennywise in the end, yeah it was that hideous. Since then, I never tried putting any make-up on except for lipsticks and mascara. I could use an eyeliner too but I take an eternity to make both eyes look identical.

Ben sent me a message as I was wearing my high heels telling me that he's outside my house. I took one last look at my reflection in the mirror and damn!! I looked gooood.

When I heard the doorbell I stumbled all the way towards the door then straightened my back before opening it because mom always complained about it. I rolled my eyes at the information everytime she said it but she's right nonetheless.

As soon as I opened the door Ben jumped me, he kept attacking my face and neck with his lips and all I'm thinking about is my now ruined lipstick and that I almost suffocated from his bone-crushing hug.

"That's sweet and all but I think you should let me go now." I said, still suffocating. I wasn't over reacting, he was. I knew he didn't love me that much.

He lets go of me, "Oh come on babe I haven't seen you in a long time." He pouted.

"Is one day a long time?" I raised an eyebrow.

"A second away from you is a long time sweetheart." He kissed my forehead. I wanted to roll my eyes badly but I smiled at him instead. "plus, they are two days, I haven't seen you on Friday after you went off to the library if you don't remember." He continued.
