Chapter 5

Me and Lily have been here a little over a month now. My mom had a court hearing Thursday to determine her sentence for domestic violence. And turns out she was involved in other things too, if you now what I mean. We'll our mom won't be outside those gates for a good 25 years. I guess that's good. While my and Lily have been here we've even made some friends like Zach he's 10 just like Lily. Zach also has a 11 month old brother Max that I babysit all day cause you see A 10 year old can't handle a baby. Things aren't that bad around here because I have some big news. Mrs.Stewart the kind lady that runs this fostor care place has opened up her heart to us and decided to adopt both me and Lily. We will live with Mrs. And Mr. Stewart at their estate close by and come to the fostor home after school to help out. I'm leading a good life. A great one! My life has really changed for the better and even though I still occasionally miss my mom I know that I'm happier here where me and Lily are forever loved.
