That Night (The Day After)

"He did!?" Andi and Buffy both shouted in unison. Cyrus nodded with pride, trying his best to maintain his composure after recalling the events of last night.

"So tell me, it's official right?" Buffy squealed. Cyrus then frowned.

"I hope so." Cyrus sighed.

"Dude you're going to try and tell me that after gesture like that, you are still unsure if TJ likes you?" Jonah looked, wide-eyed, at Cyrus.

"Who ever asked you for relationship advice Beck?" Cyrus snapped. Jonah instantly frowned, that statement really hurting him.

"Cyrus!" Andi stated defensively, while rubbing Jonah's arm.

"I'm sorry, it's just after my last 'incident,' I've grown to be very over protective of what I have with TJ. Especially now, I feel so close, you know? I just hope he feels the same." Cyrus slumped back in the booth.

"Cyrus, all you have to do is talk to him, and if he hurts you, I will personally end his future basketball career with an injury." Buffy said proudly.

"Buffy! You will do no such thing." Cyrus pouted.

"Don't worry, I'm pretty sure TJ is smart enough to choose properly." Buffy smiled. Suddenly TJ made his way into The Spoon, and the GHC (plus Jonah) all stared as he made his way to the counter. He went up to Amber and the two began to talk.

"Hm... who knew Amber and TJ knew each other?" Andi said, genuinely surprised. Buffy and Cyrus shared the same shock from this new revelation, while Jonah snickered to himself. Cyrus felt something more than shock. He felt betrayal.

"Yeah.." Cyrus muttered, recalling last night when TJ said he wasn't hiding anything.

TJ then made his way to the back, presumably to the bathroom, and Amber made her way over to their table.

"Ready for the check?" She asked.

"Uh-yeah..." Andi said with narrowed eyes. Amber tore the paper from her notepad and placed it down on the table and made her way back to the kitchen.

TJ then emerged from the rear of the restaurant and immediately made eye contact with Cyrus. He made his way over to his table.

"Underdog! I didn't see you on the way in." TJ said, walking over to the table.

"Teej. What's up?" Cyrus said, trying to act 'chill' in front of TJ. Once TJ was at their table, Cyrus put his hand up to high five the boy, but TJ pulled him into one of those awkward looking, one person standing and one person seated, hugs. The other three were staring at what was unfolding before them, while Cyrus was beginning turn into a tomato. The two broke the hug and TJ hesitated before beginning to speak.

"Yo, you should come through to my crib tonight. It's only me and my sister so you could probably sleepover." TJ offered. Cyrus was still collecting himself after he was just hugged, so he drew out a quick breath before responding.

"So... sure thing. What time should I come?" Cyrus asked, the pigment in his face returning to normal.

"Like 6. We can order pizza for dinner." TJ said nonchalantly.

"I'm all for it. I'll see you later." Cyrus nodded.

"Aight' cool. See ya Cyrus!" And the two did their little handshake. Cyrus watched TJ walk out of The Spoon, only to turn back around and see both Andi and Buffy with their jaws dropped, and Jonah, trying his hardest not to make eye contact with him. It took a minute but finally the girls reacted.

"Cyrus!" Andi and Buffy squealed.

"Ahh eardrums." Cyrus hissed putting a finger over his right ear.

"Sorry." Andi smiled.

"But Cyrus! You and TJ hugged. And you said you weren't sure how TJ feels. That confirms it!" Buffy said while grinning.

"I know." Cyrus beamed.

"So this means I have Marty. Andi has SAVA. Cyrus has TJ, and Jonah..." Buffy paused.

"For your information I moved! And I believe you even helped me." Jonah said, sounding slightly annoyed.

"Oh right. But yeah, this is a great beginning to high school!" Buffy exclaimed. Andi sighed.

"Andi we are so proud of you getting in." Cyrus said resting a hand on hers. Everyone else nodded.

"Let's just make the most of this summer." Andi sighed.

So this is the book that's is going to try and replicate the canon storyline post finale. Also it's a Tyrus book. What's there not to love? Lmao.
