I rolled over when I heard Dollie's alarm going off from the other room. I opened my eyes, instantly feeling how dry they were. Did I even sleep last night?I went to grab my phone from my nightstand but it wasn't there. Instead there was box of cigarettes, a hot pink lighter, and a wallet with a chain connected to it. I quickly turned over, but the bed was empty.
"Mornin' love," his voice said from the doorway. I looked over and saw Dom standing there, his hair messier than ever and only his jeans on his body, hanging low on his hips. My eyes went wide and I jumped out of bed, quickly shutting the door behind him. "Woah there, easy," he chuckled when I stumbled a bit. Was I still drunk?
"Dollie," I mumbled, breathing heavily. My mouth went dry and I felt dizzy. "Water," I croaked out.
"Here," he said, handing me a cup that was in his hands. In his other hand he had a muffin from our pantry. "I hope ya don't mind I found something to eat. I was starved," he said before taking a bite of his muffin.
I gulped down the water, feeling instantly better. My head was a mess and there's no doubt my face reflected it. I looked at Dom who had red lipstick smeared across his lips. I could see more remnants of red peeking out from the waistband of his jeans – I remembered kissing every part of his body and not being able to get enough of it.
Footsteps came from down the hall and I quickly ushered Dom toward the bathroom attached to my master bedroom. I could hear the footsteps coming toward my room. "Go get in the shower," I said to him in a hushed tone.
"Only if you meet me in there..?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He looked down at my body and bit his plump bottom lip. God, those lips...
I realized from the way he was looking at me that I had gotten out of bed in such a hurry, I didn't even stop to see if I was clothed. I was wearing a tight, camisole top with no bra and boxer briefs that clung nicely to the curve of my hips. I knew they were Dom's because of the color – pink.
"Yes, yes," I agreed quickly as the footsteps drew closer. "I'll grab some towels, no go. Hurry."
He took long strides to hurry into the bathroom. He turned the water on and I heard him remove his jeans. Okay, we're clear. I wouldn't have cared if Dollie saw him in the house since she knew what last night was going to entail, even though we were both wrong about his intentions. It was funny how the night ended up going, but I couldn't say that I didn't enjoy it. I just didn't want Dollie to see him literally first thing in the morning when my lipstick had left very visible trails of what we had done last night. I could only imagine what he looked like with his pants off. I tried not to drool at the thought.
My bedroom door started to open and I saw Dom's shirt and shoes on the ground right by the door. I ran over and kicked them to the other side of the room as I placed one hand against the door to stop it from opening all the way. I heard Dollie grunt a bit on the other end, my resistance catching her off guard. She said my name and I opened the door just slightly and came into view.
"Hey, what's up?" I asked, panting and trying my best to act natural. Even though in that moment I didn't even know what natural was like.
She looked quizzical, but also excited. "How was last night?" she asked. "Did you...you know...?" she wiggled her eyebrows.
Noelia walked up behind her. "Oh my god," she said, "those are his, aren't they?" she asked, pointing at the pink shorts.
"Um, no, these are mine," I lied.
"Is he still here?" Dollie asked, her voice a whisper.
"No," I said, too quickly.
She crossed her arms. She didn't believe me. "I hear the shower running."
