Secret Messages

                               -Alice Brown POV-

He walked out of my room with his shoulders hunched. I felt so bad for what I'd done.

"Wait! No.. Alexander! I'm sorry. I didn't mean it!"

I got up to go to him, but he stopped at the doorway. I don't care that he stopped, I still leaped into his arms.

Well.. It wasn't exactly his arms. I was hugging him tightly around his waist and he didn't wrap his arms around me. They just stayed to his side.

The arms that once protected me and let me feel safe and loved, make me want to cry. I squeezed tighter around him.

"I'm sorry, Alex. I didn't mean to say it. It was just a reflex, I swear."

I looked up at him but he just looked straight ahead.

"Please.." I pleaded.

He looked down at me, and I can't explain the amount of hurt that I saw in his eyes.

I looked at his lips, the lips that now I wanted to kiss. The lips that looked and felt so soft yet so masculine. He looked at me and I think he was feeling the same thing because his eyes flashed another emotion really quickly.

I couldn't take it now. I couldn't keep my feelings bottled inside anymore.

I pulled him inside my room and closed the door, locked it behind me.

"What are you do-", he started to say before I cut him off.

"I'm really sorry that I'm about to do this. I know it's wrong and you have a girlfriend, but I can't keep my feelings down any longer."

He started to smile and I could tell he knew what I meant because he picked me up from my waist and kissed me. My legs instantly wrapped around him and I kissed him back. I didn't dare push him away because I wanted this too. I was in love with him and I think he felt the same way about me.

I pushed my hands in his hair, gently yanking every once in a while. His grip on me grew tighter as this kiss went on.

I wanted more of him. So much that I wanted to-

Ding Dong!

We both yanked apart from each other so fast. He put me down and just stood there staring at me. And I stared back.

Ding Dong! Ding Dong!

"Just a moment!" I yelled.

I looked at him and he was staring at me with a big grin. I looked down and blushed.

"I- I should probably go get that." I stuttered.

"Yeah, beautiful. Maybe you should." He said with a little husk in the end of his voice. "Don't worry I'll go to my room."

My face was definitely red, so I just nodded at him and walked to get the door.

I opened the door and saw Angel.

"Hey! What are you doing here?"

"Well, I just thought we could catch up on some girl time and watch a movie. I also wanted to surprise you so I didn't tell you I was coming over. Is it ok?"

I laughed. "Yeah, it's ok."

"But I gotta ask." She looked at me. "Why is your hair so messy."

Oh shoot!

"I was just laying down while watching TV. I thought you were my mom so I didn't bother to fix it."

"Oh ok." She giggled.

We walked up the stairs on our way to my room when Alexander popped out of his room, acting as if to have just woken up.

"Sooooo..." Angel started to say to Alexander who was rubbing his eyes. "Did y'all make up?"

I nodded while Alexander smiled and have 2 thumbs up. She knew what that meant.

"Yay!" She squealed.

We continued to walk down the hall to my room as Alex went to the bathroom. When we got to my room I just left the door open, giving a hidden message to Alex telling him that he's invited.

We put on Netflix and found a random movie. She sat on my bean bag that she loved sooooo much and I sat on my bed.

We were getting real comfortable with blankets and popcorn and were an hour into the movie when my mom entered the room. She looked like she had a hard day at work.

I didn't even hear her come in.

"I'll be in the bath if you need me.." my mother said in a low voice as she slowly walked away.

I knew that something was wrong. But the reason that I didn't go after her to check on her was because it's a family secret message. Anytime my mom comes home and goes straight to the bath, it means she doesn't want to talk about it now and she just wants to be left alone. When she goes straight to her room, it means that it's ok if we check on her.

A few minutes later, Alice got a phone call from her mother saying that it's time for her to come home to watch her cousin that's visiting.

"I hope your mom feels better." Angel says at the door.

"Me too, and thanks." I tell her.

"Anytime."  She responds.

And with that, she leaves.

Hey guyssssssssss..

I'm super duper sorry about not updating even though I said I would after my birthday. I just didn't know what to write about for this chapter, but for the other story I did.

I will try to continue updating once a week. It's really hard cause I don't always have time and I get writers block.

But!

What do y'all think is wrong with the mother? Do you think anyone will find out about Alice and Alexander? How will the twins relationship be now?

I'm letting y'all know now before y'all start assuming stuff. I am not into incest or approve of it at all, I just wanted to write a story that's unique and different. Also, I'm not from Alabama 😉😂.

*cough* Sorry to all the people from Alabama *cough*
