I searched for hours and hours, keeping up with jacks scent trail, fading into my dads. Where are you Jackie.. I thought. The moon was beginning to rise, and slender told me I had to be back by dusk. Shit... I quickly ran back to the mansion. I sighed, and masky walked over to me. "Still didn't find him..?" He asked in a gentle manner. I shook my head, and began sobbing. "Hey.. it's going to be fine shadow, he's going to be alright..." we hugged, and the rest of slenders proxies, except for Jeff, came over and hugged me as well. "Where's Jeff?" I asked. "That asshole hasn't been here all day" said hoodie. I sniffed around and caught a faded hint of his scent near the door. I froze in scilence. "What's wrong shadow?" Toby came behind me and hugged me. "He went out to look for jack..." I cried and hugged toby. Your like a brother to me Toby.. we all sobbed and none of us slept a wink.
Morning arrived quickly, and we all went out, prepared for the journey that lies ahead. I quickly picked up the scent trail again. "This way!" I shouted. We all dashed towards a house in the woods, their scent was strong, and I peeked through the window, and saw jack hung by his hands and feet, in only a hoodie and jeans. What has my father done.. I thought. I saw Jeff in the same room, but tied to a chair instead, unconscious. "I know how to handle this.." I said sternly. I explained a plan to the rest of them and they all agreed to help. "Alright masky and hoodie, you guys distract my dad, and Toby, slender, and surrender will come in with me to save them." Then all nodded, and the plan was set into action. "HEY!!" Shouted masky. My fathers deep growl arose from his throat. Hoodie had one of Jeff's knives, and he snuck up behind my father and stabbed him. "Don't fuck with my friends you asshole" he yelled. "NOW!!" I shouted as hoodie and masky had my dad tied up securely and we went in to save jack and Jeff. "UGH!!" My father broke free. "SHIT!" He lashed me across the face and I took the knife from hoodie. "YOUR A PIECE OF SHIT!!" I stabbed him in the chest and he quickly fell limp. Blood was splattered along the walls and myself. Everyone stared at me in disbelief. I was panting. "When did you learn how to do that?" Masky asked. "I used to do that with a shard of glass..." i panted. I quickly grabbed jack and saw that he was struggling to breathe. "N-no...." I began sobbing and I lay jack down gently and laid on his chest. "Please don't leave me..." I sobbed quietly. Toby picked me up and put me on his back and masky carried jack beside us. Upon arriving back to the mansion surrender wasn't sure if jack or Jeff would make it. I stayed by jacks side, watching him get better every day. I had another anxiety attack, and had been in a short term coma for a month. Upon my awakening jack still had not returned to consciousness. I waited for another few hours, and he finally began to wake up. "Ugh...~ by whole body hurts...." a tear of pain dripped off his face. I sobbed into his chest as he held me gently. Jack kissed me and said, "I'm so sorry Shadow.." he began crying and we cuddled each other for comfort. "Let's get you out of these clothes...~" I took the off hoodie he was wearing and saw large marks from my fathers awful beatings. "J-jack.-" a red tear fell from my face, and jack pulls me in, kissing me. "Shhh...~ I'm alright hun..~" he whispered to me, his soft, and silky voice easing my anxiety away. My tail wrapped around jack, and I lay on his chest, falling asleep slowly.
