I ended up late, really late. Thank God, professors are usually late too in first days, sometimes they don't even bother to go.

Kuya texted me, he said he can't picked me up this morning because the coach is too strict on him because he gained weight, so he ended up begging for Sam. Like I care, but yeah, I do care.

Anyway, its lunch time, he texted me again and said that they are on the cafeteria, and I should go too.

But, I am thinking if I should go or not because I'm scared that maybe he's there, I hope he's there. And yeah, I ended up going.

" Hi po. " I greeted then sat in front of kuya.

" Sam said you asked him to stop the car at the parlor. Why? " such a nice greet kuya, such a nice greet.

" Oh, I just felt the urge to eat ice cream. " I answered sarcastically.

" She didn't ate breakfast. " Sam said accusingly. Like he even care.

" Oh, I just thought you're waiting for too long. I'm just concerned. " I said.

" I didn't told you to skip breakfast, And really, Euris? Ice cream in the morning, are you trying to kill yourself? "

" You're over reacting, Sam. My brother is not even that concerned about it. Don't you forget the times where you guys eat canton with soda (softdrink), it's disgusting. " I don't care anymore about my reputation, I don't care about my two good-goody shoes, fuck that shit.

And yeah, They are shocked.

" Okay, Euris, let's calm down and don't talk while we're still ang--" Kuya Mac tried to repair the situation but Kuya Jake cut him off.

" Are you hungry? " Kuya Jake said, I just smiled.

" I'm famished. " I simply said and my brother ordered a banquet. " Woah, this is amazing." I said and then heard my stomach grumbled when the food came. I prepared myself to dig out the food, but--

" Wait, let's wait for Cindy. " he said. So now, I need to adjust my eating habits too when I'm with them. Ghad.

" Can't I just eat first? "I ask hoping that maybe, just maybe, I can eat.

" No. " he said not even doubting, and we saw her coming.

" Woah, she's here." they all teased.

" Stop it." he said, embarrassed.

This is the hardest part, accepting that he really is inlove.

I sighed, thank god they didn't noticed. BUT, I don't want to go through this again, so I excused myself.

I stared at him, and saw how happy he was. I breathe and looked at the food infront of me.

He's not healthy. Definitely not. I stood up.

" Where are you going? " Kuya asked, eyebrows shot up.

" Umm..." It took me seconds to think of a reason, then I saw a group of boys near us. " Just going to my friends. " I said then pointed at the group of boys I saw while getting my bag.

" I thought you're hungry? You should eat first." Kuya Jake said.

" No, umm, it's-it's okay. Bye." I said urgently and almost run away from them.

That was close. I went to the group of boys so that they don't realize I'm lying. And when I got there, I don't know them.

" Hey. " I said then smiled at them. They are so fucking tall, maybe as tall as kuya and kuya's friends.

" Hey? " a man with kind eyes asked questionly.

" Um, can I ask for a favor? "

" Okay, this is weird but, sure? "

" Walk with me, then smile. " I said with a smile. I don't care if they think I'm weird, I just want to get out of here without a problem. So, we started walking.

While we are walking, they were taking. And me, still unable to function well because of the happenings in the present, suddenly felt dizzy. I haven't eaten anything all day and I am stressed, I want to puke.

" Hey, you okay? " one of them asks, concern, then checked my temp by touching my neck.

" Yeah, just hungry. " I said then put his hand away. But then, ended up touching him for support.

" Hey, hey. Are you sure you're okay? Maybe we should get you some food first. " he said, and I heard my stomach grumbling.

" That's not a a bad idea. " I kidded and they laughed.

I ended up hanging up with them. As I was eating a sandwich one of them have, we are talking inside our school's garden.

" Jesus Christ, you are seriously out of manners. " one of them commented, disgusted.

" Shut up. " I said as I chewed on the sandwich. " Who made this sandwich anyway? It's seriously tastes so good. " I commented.

" I made them. " the most responsible-looking guy said.

" Ooh, you'll make a great cook. " I complimented.

" Yup, but sadly, I'm on my first year of premed. Mac Ethan Luis Mariano. You can call me Ethan. " he said introducing himself.

" We are all, you bastard. I'm Luke Vonn Gerald Domingo, Luke for short."

" Leoandrew Valdus Francisco. You can just call me Andrew or Leo, they really like to mish-mash my name, I don't really mind. " he said then smiled.

And lastly a boy with a guitar on his back introduces himself.

" John Dustin Frederik Agustin. " he said simply.

" Okay, this is overwhelming but, I am Maria Euris Lopez. " I said then smiled.

They stood frozen for a second.

" Is there a problem? "

" You're that woman!" Valdus said, obviously shocked.

" Wait what? What woman?"

" I knew it, you really look familiar." Vonn said.

" Okay, I'm clueless.

" The crying woman, this morning. " Frederik said, obviously expecting me to understand, but, I'm still clueless.

" The Ice cream Parlor? This morning? Crying? " Val tried to make me remember by asking me questions. And then I remembered.

" Oh." I said then there was a long awkward silence.

" Nah, there is nothing in this world you should be sad about. You should just smile and have fun as long as you can, and remember, happiness had been in your hands all along. So choose to be happy. " Luke said then they all smiled.

Maybe this day is another day of pain.

Another day full of questions. And seriously, this day had been too much tougher than the other days.

Too much pain and stress.

But, I guess, there is always a blessing in disguise.

At least I've gained some friends.

And then, I smiled back.
