This was the day you had been waiting for, after what seemed to be years of back to back promotion's. Your lovely boyfriend finally had a break. You were sitting on the couch waiting for him in one of his favorite hoodies that was now yours. You were channel surfing trying to pass time, checking your phone from time to time. Your eyes got heavy but you were determined to stay awake and wait for him. The front door creaked opened with an exhausted but happy Mark. You got up and ran into his arms as he lifted you up slightly. You took him in fully and totally as you were freed from his embrace. He looked the same only thing different was his hair- but you were used to that.
He sat down on the couch and yawned. "Hey is that my hoodie?" He said as you sat down next to him. He lied across your chest as you both watched whatever was going on, on the tv. "Mayhaps" You said all giddy.
You finally had him all to yourself. No more stolen kisses before or after music shows. No dressing up like a nigga to hide from dispatch. You two could just be you, and in the comfort of your own home. You played in his dyed dark brown hair. Twirling it around your fingers and smelling it from time to time- even though that was probably weird. "Hows my little superstar?" You asked resting your chin on the top of his head. Mark hummed as he thought. "Eh?" he shrugged. You chuckled "Understandable" You whispered quietly.
"I'm glad you're home" You whispered softly moving down to the crook of his neck leaving a soft kiss there. He giggled "I'm glad to be home. Did I miss anything while i was gone?" You sighed as you thought about your boring ass life as a college student and working part time at the local Walgreens.
"This girl 'Sharon' keeps acting like shes my friend-"
Mark cut you off "(Y/N) be nice-"
"I swear I am- she invited me over to her house like I know her like that"
"Did you go?"
"Am I here right now?" You said as your eyes suddenly got heavy. "Damn I missed you" Mark said intertwining his fingers with yours. "Mmhmm" You mumbled as you started to fall asleep. Mark yawned and cuddled uo to you more. "I love you baby" You muttered as you felt yourself passing out.
"Love you more boo"
