//trigger warning//maybe it was the way she flipped him off the first time she saw him, or maybe it was the way he was protective over her; a meer stranger to him. maybe, just maybe he seemed to make her feel high even in her most sober moments.

she was woman of the hour, for all the wrong reasons. they couldn't seem to take their eyes of her. her face already flushed, and slightly sweaty from what only god knows what. she was usually the quiet type, a 'yes professor' and 'no professor' kind of girl. until she got a taste of what her roommate called 'hell that was white like heaven'. her nose burned badly, but she finally felt something that had to do with her name...euphoria.
by now she was well into her third year of college, maintaining a good profile during the day but even then she spent most of the day high, just not as high as she was usually on the weekends. everybody knew at this point who she was, and what she did. it'd be a surprise to not see euphoria at some kind of function.
sometimes they just called her happy, cause that's what she always seemed to be, no one ever knew if it was from the drugs or it was just her personality, to them it was just her. to euphoria, she wasn't happy, and hadn't been since she started college. she hated herself when she was sober, and sometimes had no recollection of herself being high. sometimes it just all blurred.
she had a profile to maintain, cokewhore being one of them, even though she was a grade a virgin. not like she'd let anybody know that, it was all part of her "act" anyways. 'put one of your weaknesses on display to distract from the others' was something she said to herself as she put on her lipgloss in the mirror before she went to another party.
everything went so smoothly, she was having a good time as always, till she wasn't. her vision became cloudy, and the once normal volumed music was pounding in her ear drums. she almost fell to the ground before she felt a pair of arms wrap around her, and a voice coo to her almost if she was a baby.
"god?" she said slurring her words a bit
"no, just a friend"
euphoria didn't have any friends...
"bro shut up!" someone yelled making euphoria twitch in her sleep.
euphoria felt something cold press her forehead, a bunch of voices surround her. "shut the fuck up ten" a stern voice said from a bit farther away than she was. the bed she was in was comfortable, more comfortable than her dorms bed ever was, she felt at peace for once. she let out a soft groan, fluttering her eyes open. "oh there you go" a voice cooed softly, it was very comforting and not to mention deep.
"who the fuck..." she said the scenery too foreign for her liking, and the lights too bright.
"lucas does she even know who you are?—"
"not yet at least"
a series of sighs, groans and nd shook heads went around the room.she looked around to see if she recognized anybody, and unfortunately she didn't. "is this some kind of gangbang situation?" she asked with an eyebrow raised. "oh my god no" one of the boys seemed to gag at the thought of that "captain save a hoe here just seemed to think it was cool to bring you to our dorms"
the boy who they called 'lucas' flashed euphoria a smile that made her heartbeat quicken, it'd never done that before. "can y'all just move the fuck back" she sat up slowly her body feeling like complete and total garbage.
eventually the boy lucas helped her to the door, offering to walk her to her dorm of course she said no. "but i wanna know if you got home safe...can i at least get a name and a number"
she rolled her eyes and asked for his phone of course with an attitude. she handed him his phone back with one of the fakest smiles to ever exist. "call me sometime...or don't" she shrugged walking out of his dorm.
he looked at the name she put herself under on his phone. lucas basically had stars in his eyes looking at the cute rainbow and sparkle she put next to her name. "euphoria" he read making the butterflies in his stomach worsen and his smile grow wider.
