Everyone wasn't expecting to see Kagome and Naraku fighting. Both of them unaware of their surroundings. They were tired but still not backing down. Inuyasha, Kikyo, Miroku, and Sango are surprised to see Kagome and Naraku battling each other. The aura they are feeling is overwhelming. They can't stay on their feet for long. They never knew Kagome was so strong and be able to fight Naraku on the same level and also they don't understand why are they fighting.
Sesshomaru felt the energy of the Shikon jewel in the village. Some of the energy felt warm and comforting but the other energy felt cold and malicious. It felt familiar. He ran toward the energy as fast as he could to see where the energy come from. He wasn't expecting two people he hasn't seen for couple of years; one being the Miko and the other being the detestable half demon. He was surprised just like the others that both Kagome and Naraku can fight without either of them backing down. Sesshomaru joined up with Inuyasha and his pack to get an explanation.
"What happened? Why is Naraku still alive? And why is he battling the Miko?!" Sesshomaru yelled
"How the hell would I know! They just showed up when the jewel's light dimmed!" Inuyasha yelled back
"First of all! Where the hell was she the whole time and also how did she get so strong!" Kikyo yelled
Kagome summoned her katana and Naraku did the same. Now they were fighting using swords. They are both full of cuts and gashes from their katanas but the attacks are not slowing down. Now Kagome flew up in the sky and summoned her katana away and got her bow and arrows. She was getting ready to shoot Naraku but dodged and flew up in the sky as well. Naraku finally noticed her old pack staring up watching the battle happening.
"Oh My dear Kagome! Look who is down watching!" Naraku yelled
Not saying a word Kagome glanced over her shoulder and saw her old pack. Not interested in them, she focused on Naraku.
"Oh Kagome~ Don't you miss them~ You haven't seen them in centuries~" mocked Naraku
"I could care less." Kagome responded emotionlessly
"Oh my dear Kagome~ Lets stop fighting for now. We fought for too long~ We are both severely injured and tired~" Naraku purred getting ready to escape
"You're not escaping Naraku." Kagome growled
Naraku smirked and used his miasma to create a diversion.
"Bye my sweet Kagome~ We'll continue this next time we see other~" Naraku echoed
