A Pink Roses AU courtesy of DJG3N6 herself, where Fresh is a sadistic cannibal who eats his enemies. I was once disgusted and terrified of this idea, but it grew on me eventually (because I'm just as messed up as Jun, probably slightly less but still messed up) and I made fanart, as well as this oneshot when I was at school.

Don't worry, I'll try to start doing requests as soon as I finish one more thing. Well anyways, enjoy this short oneshot!

A pair of legs sped through the darkness of the hallway, running as fast as they could as if their life depended on it.

And it did. Tetra was trapped in this dark, pink maze of a tower, and hot on their tail was a lunatic pink demon of a man, whom they had just discovered as a bloodthirsty cannibal. Not long while ago, the pink demon nicknamed "Blixer" had taken over their homeland, Paradise, and Tetra, as one of the Guardians of Paradise, and their Guardian siblings had set off to stop him.

But if Tetra had known sooner that Blixer was a cannibal who tears his enemies to bloody pieces and/or ravenously eats them alive, they wouldn't have tried to stop him in the first place.

Now it was too late. They were trapped, separated from their siblings Lumina, Quin, and Pi, whom Tetra could only pray to the Tree of Life for their siblings' safety, and running hopelessly from the cannibal demon chasing after them. Deep down they knew it was a lost cause, but they had to try and escape SOMEHOW.

They gasped and panted breathlessly, tired legs screaming in protest, their lungs burning as they kept on speeding forward, tumbling down stairs and crashing lopsidedly into walls. And all they could hear other than their own rapid heartbeat rushing through their ears was Blixer's blood-curdling ringing laughter of triumph and sadistic glee.

"F-fuck!" they swore as they accidentally tripped and sprawled onto the pink marble floor, earning themself a nasty, burning scratch on their left knee. They felt like giving up; they considered lying there until Blixer caught up and captured them, but at the sound of Blixer's loud, ground-shaking, greedy footsteps, Tetra's fear (heavily mixed with determination) got the best of them and they continued to run.

"You can't run forever, Square!" came Blixer's taunting, jeering voice echoing from behind them. Tetra was shaking with terror, they really were, not just because of the fact that they were going to die a horrible, gruesome death as Blixer's next meal, but also because they were fearing for the lives of Lumina, Quin, and Pi. They were never going to admit it, but they loved their siblings, and they were never going to be able to live without them. If they were going to survive, of course. (And it was a big IF at this point.) Who knows what Blixer would do with the closest things to family that Tetra ever had? But they couldn't find them now; the scariest kind of Death was staring at them in the face, and all they could do now was postpone their inevitable fate, maybe even long enough to lure Blixer away from their siblings so the three could escape.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, they reached the tower's last floor. The dark pink mahogany double doors stretched from the floor up to the very ceiling itself, right at the edge of the hallway, inviting Tetra to come over and open them. The poor Square cried a trembling sigh of relief, thanking the Tree of Life for letting them reach this far. All the way as they limped as fast as they could towards the doors, great thunder rumbled outside as the storm rained relentlessly down on what-used-to-be-Paradise, and lightning crackled above in the dark clouds, illuminating the darkened hallway for a second. With shaking fingers, they wrapped their hands around the doorknobs, and desperately pushed them with all their remaining strength.

The doors did not budge.

Tetra gave them another desperate shake. Nothing.

Overwhelmed with panic, they ran towards the nearest window and tried ramming them with their shoulder, but it only resulted in giving themself a painful bruise while the glass remained curiously unscathed.
