Ashton's POV

"It was really nice meeting you, Anne." Mia smiled as her and my mum talked. I was preoccupied with the severe pain in my right side. It kind of crept up on me, the pain, because on the way to the restaurant the severe pain suddenly appeared and it nearly made my legs numb.

"Ash, you alright," Mia broke my thoughts. "You're really pale." She told me. Looking down at her I just smiled.

"I'm fine. Are you okay? You're very tan." I joked making her roll her eyes. "No, seriously, I'm fine, Ross." I assured her. She glared at me for a few short seconds before smirking.

"Okay, I believe you." She smiled. I smile back at her as the two of us started walking towards her car. "So, I was thinking that we could hang out tomorrow. Me, you and the boys. I haven't seen them in forever." She started rambling as she unlocked her car and threw her backpack on the passengers seat.

"Yeah, that's sounds like a good idea. I'll call you in the morning?" I asked her, holding back a grimace as she accidentally elbowed me in the side while she moved around me.

"You better or else I'll hunt you down, Irwin." She joked. Turning around she hugged my sister, brother and mum, promising them that she would see them soon. She then hugged her dads telling them that she would meet them back at the house.

"See you tomorrow, Ash." She hugged me goodbye before getting into her car. I closed the door for her and waved as she pulled out of her spot and then out of the parking lot. On top of the pain in my side, I was confused about earlier. She basically admitted that she had a crush on me but before I could confront her Harry and Lauren had pulled her away so they could ramble on about some of my embarrassing baby stories. I haven't had the guts to talk to her about it ever since.

"Bye guys," Josh and Alex called as the two walked hand and hand towards Josh's car. We all waved goodbye as my mum, Lauren Harry and I walked towards our cars.

"I'll take Harry and Lauren in my car and follow you home, okay Ash?" My mum asked as she unlocked the car and let Harry climb in the backseat and Lauren climb into the passenger side.

"Sounds good." I told her. I was very limited on my speech because I was fighting back the pain in my side. Which seemed to be growing worse and worse, and was making me extremely nauseous.

"Are you sure you're okay?" My mum asked, bring her hand to my forehead. "Mia's right, you do look pale."

"I'm fine, mum. Just a little under the weather. I'll sleep it off when I get home." I told her. She glared at me the same way Mia did before nodding her head. "See you when we get home?" I asked, steering away from the conversation about my health.

"Okay, see you when we get home. Drive save, baby." My mum kissed my cheek before getting in the car. I made sure that she was in safely before I made my way to mine and got inside. The drive home was terrible, I was just about ready to throw up, I was in so much pain and I was getting a headache in the middle of all of this.

Once I pulled in the driveway and my mum pulled in after me, she was rushing to get me out of the car.

"You were all over the road, Ashton. Get in the house immediately and get in bed." She ordered. I groaned, feeling like I was ten. Stumbling into the house, I ignored my bedroom and headed straight for the bathroom, empty my dinner into the toilet as soon as I made it to my knees. My mum was at my side in seconds as she sat on the ledge of the bath-tub and rubbed my back.

"Must have come down with something." She sighed, brushing the hair away from my face and the sweat off of my forehead. "Come, let's get you to bed." After cleaning up, my mum helped me into my room but left so I could change out of my jeans and into a muscle tank and sweatpants. Flopping down onto my bed, I found myself asleep in seconds.

It didn't last long though because all through the night I kept waking up from the pain, from sweating and from throwing up. I was a mess and was honestly starting to get scared when I found it getting harder and harder to walk.

"Luke," I called Luke at close to six in the morning.

"Do you know what time it is?" He asked, slightly annoyed because the possibility of me waking him up was pretty high.

"Luke, I think I need to go to the hospital." I told him and he fell silent on the other end of the phone.

"The boys and I will be over in a second." And then he hung up. I groaned, rolling onto my back and dropping my phone down on my bed. I managed to get myself out of my room, stumbling towards my mums room and pushing the door open quietly.

"Mum," I held onto her hip, shaking her awake. She stirred in her sleep for a minute before turning over to look at me. Her hand reached up to touch my clammy cheek.

"Whats he matter, Ash. Are you okay honey?" She asked, sitting up in bed so she could get a better look at me. I shook my head, holding onto her shoulder so I could keep my balance.

"The boys are on their way over," I told her. "I need to go to the hospital."
