*3 Days Later*

^America POV^

I groaned while doing my paperwork. I've missed so many days that I'm two months behind. I stand up and stretch my arms out. "I need a break," I told myself while grabbing my sunglasses. I've had my sunglasses for years. I got them when I got a big scar on my left eye. My siblings and parents know about it, but that's it. I then put them on and grabbed a coat while walking out of my room. Walking downstairs I saw my dad. He looked at my and took a sip of his tea.

"Where are you going?" He asked holding his hot fresh tea.

"Out," I responded not caring what he thought. My dad and I never really go along well and I just accepted the fact.

"You better be back in time for dinner."

"Dad, I'm 24 years old. I'll be fine. I'm a grown adult."

"After what you did I say, you're a small child."

That ticked me off. "Maybe if you would treat me like a normal country, I wouldn't have done it!" I yelled at him. He was shocked but not too shock. Him and I always got in fights so he wasn't scared by the fact Ii yelled, but what my words said. I just walked out the house and slammed the door. I was pissed off so just walked away from the house. I was mad that I had to stay with my parents because they didn't trust me. I was frustrated that I was being treated like a baby. I was upset that I had to deal with life!

Walking down the cold frosty street I saw something from the corner of my eye. I couldn't tell what it was so I turned my head and WHAM! I had been hit in the head by something. I fell on the ground and groaned. My body was trying to process what just happened when I felt something warm dripping down my face. I put my hand up and wiped where I felt it and put my hand down to see it.

Blood...

I looked to the side of my hand and saw my sunglasses shattered. My instinct then was to cover my left eye and look up to see who had done it.  That's when I saw people having a snowball fight. I got up and went over to them to warn them to be careful and maybe get an apology. I tapped on one of their shoulders and started to talk.

"Dude, be careful. One of your guys snowball gave me a nosebleed," I told the tall man. He turned around and looked at. I recognized this man. It was Russia. It's been years sense I saw him. I could feel old emotions rising up. He just looked at me. He didn't respond to me.

^Russia POV^

*A little time before*

I having a snowball fight with my siblings when I felt a tap on my shoulder. The person started talking to me before I had time to turn around.

"Dude, be careful. One of your guys snowball gave me a nosebleed," The voice behind me told me. I turned around wanting to see this person and I realized who it was fast. America. Him and I didn't have the best relationship. I kind of just stared and couldn't find words. We never got along sense I was 12 and he was 10. I became their friend one day and the very next day they hated me. I never could understood.

*Flashback*

I was happy and nervous to see my new friends I had made. I saw America and I went to him. He looked at me with disgust on his face. I was confused until I saw anger in his eyes.

"Stay away from me you communist dog!" He yelled at me backing away and covering his younger brother, Australia. I put my hand out and was about to ask what was going on, when he slapped my hand and ran off with his brother. I stood there in shock. Why did I do wrong? I felt a tear roll down my face. I could hear my father's voice in the back of my head.

"Trust no one and you won't get hurt."
