^Canada's POV^

It was silent in the car. No noise. It had been this way for the past five minutes. Canada sheepishly looked at his brother. He could see America resting his chin on the palm of his hand as he looked out the window. Canada could tell America wanted to get out of USSR's house as soon as possible. He didn't even eat anything there.

"Are you going to eat when we get home?" Canada asked, finally breaking the silence of the two young adults.

"Maybe," America answered, barely mumbling it out for Canada to hear. America was still looking out the window, not moving a muscle at all while answering the question.

"Call you eat, please?" Canada pleaded. He wanted his brother to eat. His brother would sometimes go on a food streak for a couple of days, but then eat horribly greasy food when he did eat.

"Maybe," America had mumbled out again. "It's not let dad cares." Canada didn't hear that last part because he mumbled it so lowly, it just sounded like one noise.

"Eh?" he asked not knowing if his brother had said something or not. There was no answer from America. The car had fallen deeply silent again.
