Ripto was once again working another shift at the tavern. However, he was working a little slower than normal. Now your probably wondering why is he working slowly, well it's pretty much because of a choice he made yesterday. Ripto was helping Elora with the newly installed garden in Autumn plains, and while he was picking out the weeds from the ground, he spotted a graveyard in the distance. He thought that he probably shouldn't go near it but, he felt tempted to go see it. Once he came close enough, Ripto saw two very large graves and walked towards them. When he read whose names were on them, he dropped to his knees as tears started to fall from his eyes. Elora was able to comfort Ripto but, after seeing the graves of his former serv-friends, he couldn't shake the feeling of regret. In all honesty, he blamed himself for their demise and now he can't even apologize to them.
"Ripto?" Spyro's voice spoke as the dino was broke from his thoughts. "Oh hey Spyro, I didn't see ya there." Ripto said while trying to show a small smile. "Elora told me what happened yesterday so, I came by to see how you're doing." The young dragon said as Ripto's smile turned into a frown. "Uhh, yeah I-I'm fine just a little shook up." He said using a little white lie. "Ripto, you know that I can tell when a person is telling a little white lie." Spyro stated as the dino looked down with a sigh. "Listen dude, I know you don't want to talk about and don't worry that's not why i'm here. I just wanted to see if maybe when you finish your shift, you could come with me to the dream weavers homeworld?"
Ripto thought for a second before replying,"ok, i'll come with you." "Awesome, i'll meet you outside the tavern to take you there!" Spyro exclaimed before heading towards the door and quickly winking at Ripto and telling him he wouldn't regret this. This caused the dino to become curious as to what the young dragon had exactly planned for him.

Once Spyro and Ripto arrived at dream weavers, via Spyro flying them there, they were immediately greeted by the leader, Lateef. "Ahh, Spyro and Ripto," he began. "I've been expecting you, come with me. The spiritual session is about to commence." The elder dragon then led the two reptilians to a large open area in dream weavers where the other dragons were waiting. From there, Spyro lead Ripto to their spots as the session began.
"Now that everyone is here, the session may begin." Lateef announced. Ripto looked at Spyro as he showed him the proper sitting position and then quietly told him to close his eyes as well as to focus on his breathing. As Ripto did what he was told, he honestly did start to feel more relaxed. However, he couldn't help but wonder why did Spyro want him to come here? He knew it wasn't just to indulge in some dragon meditation, there had to be something more.
Suddenly, Ripto started to feel a little lighter than normal. With his curiosity peaked, he slowly opened his eyes and what he saw amazed him. The area was now very cloudy looking but also, very colorful. It seemed magical almost exactly like heaven. All of the dragons from the session were also there, too. Well, at least he knows why the sessions are called spiritual sessions. Although, he was still curious as to why Spyro wanted him to see this.
"Sweet ya made it," Spyro spoke as he approached the dino. " welcome to the other side." "The other side?" Ripto said curiosity laced in his voice. "Yep, follow me and i'll explain why I wanted you here." The young dragon then held out a paw to which the dino grasped onto as he was pulled up. Spyro then began to lead Ripto to a different section of the area and explained his reasoning for bringing Ripto here. "I know that you were upset by the demise of crush and gulp, and I am aware that by seeing their graves it only reminded you more about them. I'm sure you want a chance to at least see them again." As Spyro said those words, Ripto sighed,"if only I could get that chance and it was my fault that they met their demise, now I can't even apologize."
"Well, I don't know about you but, i'm sure they would be happy to see you." Spyro said with joy in his voice. Ripto was about to ask what Spyro was talking about, when soon the little dragon moved some hanging vines away to reveal a glorious pond with a small waterfall as well as rainbow colored flowers. But, what really caught Ripto's attention was two large figures that were standing by the pond. The green one was drinking from the fresh water like a cat would and the blue one was taking flowers that he had picked from the ground and placing them onto the water and watching them float around. Now their scale colors were brighter than they were before and their backs were facing the dino and dragon but, Ripto was able to recognize them easily.
"Crush, gulp?" Ripto said slowly but, loud enough for them to hear. The two large dinos turned their attention to the familiar voice of their master. Gulp jawdropped and crush dropped the flowers from his hands. Ripto then felt tears welling up in his eyes as he realized that they were real and not hallucinations. He then screamed their names loudly as he ran to them with a big smile on his face. Crush and gulp did the same as their master latched onto them. All three of them were crying tears of joy for being reunited after so long. Ripto kept saying i'm sorry over and over again as crush and gulp comforted their master with understanding grunts. Spyro watched the reunion while smiling knowing that Ripto got to see his friends again. After 3 minutes of watching the reunion, the purple dragon decided to let them have this moment and went on his way to handle his personal business in the other side.

After their visit to the other side, Lateef told Ripto that he could come anytime to dream weavers to get to the other side to visit crush and gulp. Spyro then flew Ripto back to their den and along the way they talked a bit. "Hey Spyro, thanks." Ripto said. "For what?" A curious Spyro asked. "Ya know for everything letting me live in your den, helping me reform, and showing me a way to visit crush and gulp." Ripto explained. "It was no problem at all, we're friends and friends are always their for each other no matter what." Spyro replied as he landed in front of their den. "Ya know, its kind of hard to believe that we used to be enemies and now we're friends." Ripto commented. "Well this is kind of a small world, sometimes you'll be enemies with someone and then later in your life you'll meet that same person again and they'll end up being your best friend." Spyro explained. "Lateef gave you more life advice didn't he?" Ripto asked with a small smirk on his face. "Yep." Spyro deadpanned as Ripto laughed.
