A/N: This chapter was meant to celebrate Crash bandicoot and Spyro the dragon's birthday. I may not have gotten this published before September ended but at least I got it out before 2019 ends, enjoy and have a happy New Year.
"Today's the day! Today's the day!" Spyro said repeatedly as he flew through the air with Ripto desperately trying to hang on. He has been excited this entire week and why you may ask. Well Ripto was wondering the same thing and asked the young dragon why he was so happy yesterday. To which the purple child responded that an old friend of his was coming over to visit and that his friend was going to bring his family along too. Spyro then suggested that Ripto should meet his friend to which the dino agreed to do. However, after flying in the air with the hyperactive dragon for only 2 minutes, he was already having second thoughts about his decision.
"Uhh... Spyro, I get that your excited but, can you please stop doing so many aerial tricks? I'm not feeling to well." Ripto said while trying to hold back the feeling of getting sick. "Oh sorry Ripto, I just can't wait to see crash again!" Spyro said as he continued to fly straight. "So, what type of creature is crash? A dog? A meerkat?" The dino asked trying to guess who crash was. "No, Crash is a bandicoot." He replied. "Ahh, I see," Ripto said before making a curious face, "wait, what's a bandicoot?" "You're about to find out!" The young dragon said as he landed in front of the professor's lab.
Ripto got off of Spyro and knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal the professor. "Ahh Spyro, my boy and Ripto, my dino friend, come in. You've made it just in time!" The professor said gleefully as he welcomed the young dragon and dino in. As the trio walked in, they were greeted by Elora, Hunter, and Bianca. "I still can't believe that crash is bringing his family with him this time!" Hunter said curiosity laced in his voice. "Well every time crash came to visit he would be on his own but, I think he wants to make this visit special which would explain why he's bringing his family along." Spyro explained the excitement never leaving his voice.
Suddenly, the portal in the lab activated. "It's time!" The professor exclaimed. "They're here!" Spyro said as he bounced up and down like a happy puppy. Everyone's attention was on the portal as they watched the four visitors come out. There were two male bandicoots one small and the other big, one female bandicoot with long blonde hair, and a floating mask with feathers on his head. "Wow, that portal was a lot more easier to go through than the other ones we've traveled through." The big bandicoot commented.
"Crash!" Spyro shouted with joy as the small bandicoot shouted out a slurred version of Spyro's name. Both Spyro and crash ran towards each other and hugged. Which then turned into a friendly tussle, with Spyro playfully biting the bandicoot's ear and crash tugging on the dragon's tail. Everyone laughed with joy at the young dragon and bandicoot's reunion. The big bandicoot and the female bandicoot went over to the faun, the cheetah, and the bunny. "Hey Elora!" The female bandicoot greeted. "Hey Coco," Elora responded back as she looked up at the big male bandicoot, "I guess you must be Crunch? Crash and Coco have told us a lot about you."
"That's me, it's nice to meet ya!" Crunch replied as he held out his metal hand to which the faun grasped with her paw and shook it. Hunter then came up to crunch with his eyes sparkling with amazement. "Dude, that metal hand of yours looks so cool!" The cheetah exclaimed. "Heh, thanks catman," the big bandicoot replied, "that's a cool bow and arrow set you have." "Ya really think so," Hunter laughed, "I actually made it myself, three whole weeks of craving and shaping until I was sure it was absolutely perfect." As Hunter was talking with crunch. Bianca hummed to Elora to get her attention. "Oh right," Elora started seeming a little embarrassed that she forgot to introduce her friend, "Coco, this is Bianca, she's the newest member of our team." "So your the Bianca that Elora couldn't stop talking about. I love your outfit it's really beautiful!" Coco said while complimenting the bunny's attire. "Aww thanks Coco, and I love hair it's so pretty and long." Bianca replied complimenting Coco back.
