After 4 hours on a plane ride, we finally landed in Washington. I got off the plane and saw joe standing at the terminal. I ran over and gave him a hug. He hugged me back and he helped us with our luggage. Joe drove me and max home while my parents went with lily. Joe dropped us off at home and went to his house, which was two houses down. I got into my house and walked up to my room. I flopped into my bed. Once my face made contact with the pillow, I was out. I woke up the next day still being tired. I got up and put on this:

I checked my phone and saw a text from Jackson. It said "hey good morning even though it's like 5am here ❤️" I smile and texted back, "the time difference is gonna be difficult but good morning ❤️" I turned off my phone and stuck it into my pocket. I walked downstairs and got some breakfast. I got a text from joe. It said "meet at my house 10." I with replied "ok." I told my parents I was going to joe's house and they said "ok". I walked out the house and went to joe's house. I knocked on the door and joe opened the door. We went to the couch and we watched a movie. That's when I realized everything was gonna be alright.
Me and Jackson made the long distance work. We visited each other over holidays and on breaks. We still are in long distance but we plan to make it work. Joe and I are still best friends. I know sometimes he's still has feelings but he's found a lovely girl. Payton and Shaari broke up after a while. I still keep in touch with all my friends in Florida. That's the end of "summer get away" I hope all y'all enjoyed it :)
