have you ever loved someone, but not be loved in return?

you cry.

you pray.

you cry.

you wish.

you cry.

you hope.

you cry.

you dream.

you cry.

and you cry, pray, cry, wish, cry, hope, cry, dream and cry some more, but they still don't love you, they never will.

until they do, and it's marvelous.

fabulous.

stunning.

fantastic.

beautiful.

until it's not.

until they start saying it's wrong.

until they think it's bad for a man to love another man.

but you have him, and he has you, so it doesn't really matter.

until it does.

until he starts caring.

until it matters what they say and think.

until your patroclus doesn't want to be wrong anymore.

until your patroclus gives up.

but how could something so wrong feel so right?
