For night after night, I kept having the same recurring nightmare. Same blonde hair man and same ending situation. I became the darkness within. One thing for sure I knew, this wasn't gonna happen to me while I'm awake.

"Angel"

The blonde hair man reached for me but he faded into nothing as Weston appeared in front of me.

"What are you doing here West?", looking into his brown eyes.

"Protecting you like I always have since we were kids and always will."

"You haven't protected me since we were kids. We were just friends then you didn't care about me then like you do now."

"Oh, Angel if only you knew the whole story." He cupped my face in between his hands.

"What whole story?"

But before he could answer he faded away into the darkness just like everything else in my life.

I awoke with a gasp in Weston's bedroom with him beside me still sound asleep. My dreams have to be meaning something. First their nightmares of darkness that wanna take me with it and then West trying to tell me the rest of the story, the part of my life I don't know about. I will figure this out sooner or later but first I need to face the day that everyone says goodbye to my parents. One last look at West as I went into the bathroom to get ready for the day.

Looking in the mirror, there's just a girl with a broken heart that has brown curly hair halfway down her back with blue eyes like the ocean.

It's been two weeks since the crash. Two weeks since my parents have been dead. Two weeks since I have gone anywhere. The only person I have talked to really at all has been West. No one else really matters right now. He knows how much I wanna talk or not talk at all. I'll have my moments where he lights up my whole mood and I'm smiling or laughing so hard and others where the tears just won't stop coming or the shakes just take over my body from the pain. I've also barely eaten anything, whatever I eat just comes right back up.

I have straightened my hair today and put black eyeliner all around my eyes. I decided to not be myself today and dress up as someone who can hide the feelings of pain and just show a face to the people that I don't even know. Slipping on a tight black dress that barely hits my kneels, West knocks on the door and comes in.

"Angel, you a—..... Woah." As he looks up and down my body like I'm some piece of artwork that's worth millions.

"What? It's just a dress." Rolling my eyes at him as I cross my arms.

"But a dress that your wearing. Come here." He shuts the door and pulls me into his arms as a smile takes over my lips.

"What do you think you are doing Weston." giggles escape my lips as he kisses me.

"I want to kiss my girlfriend before we have a very long day. A day you aren't gonna go through alone." He pins me against the wall and cups my face, kissing me lightly.

Wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him closer to me, all I felt was his heart beating rapidly against my chest as he kissed me harder and harder. My body temp was rising, all I felt was electricity coursing through me wanting to break free.

"You haven't touched me in weeks and now just because I'm wearing a dress like this?" His face inches from me, tilting my head to the side, I grabbed his hand and slide it up to my leg just enough for him.

"Not just because you are wearing a dress. It's because your mine and you deserved to be loved like this. Now stop talking and enjoy it."

Next thing I knew we were both on the floor with our clothes on the other side of the room. He made me forget what pain I was going through for the last couple of weeks and gave me some bit of happiness that I haven't felt in a long while.
