Jenesis' POV

I woke up from a dream. I saw Joel and he was walking towards me. Not in a gown just in regular clothes, after that I woke up. I put my head in the palm of my hands. I laid my head back down on my pillow. "Uggg!!! I'm dreaming about this boy!" .

I tried to go to sleep after that but it took me a while.

I woke up to Walking in my room to take my blood again. Everyday. For some reason my blood came out today on the first try. I smiled.

"That's a good sign. Let me see if you have a fever still"

She checked it "you don't have a fever Jen" she smiled at me.

"Yay"

"You can go see Joel. Even though you been seeing him without my permission already"

"Ohhh sorry Catherine."

She cuts me off "it's ok, I get it. Y'all can't stay away from each other"

"Now take you medicine" she said while replacing my empty bag of saline with a full one.

"Ok"

"I'll be back later" she walked out.

I got up to use the bathroom then after that I started writing in my diary about yesterday.

I hear my phone vibrate.

Joel- good morning shorty

Jen- Good morning mi amor

Joel- I'll be there soon after I eat

Jen- ok.

I continue to write in my diary. Once I get done I walk to the bathroom and do my skincare routine. When I got done with that I brushed my teeth. I felt arms wrap around my waist and a head rest on my shoulder. I felt someone breath on my neck. I spit in the sink and look in the mirror to see Joel with his head still on my shoulder and his nose and mouth close to my neck.

"Hey" he said and looked up

"Hey, you almost scared me" I giggled

I turn around to face him.

"Sorry. I just wanted to surprise you" he lifts me up and sits me on the counter

"It's ok. I'm just happy to see you"

"So I was thinking that we should walk around the hospital right now" he kissed my forehead

"Ok after I eat though. I didn't eat yet"

"That's fine with me shorty"

It took me thirty minutes to eat.

"I'm done eating" I got out of my bed. I called Cathy. "Cathy, is it ok if we walk around the hospital"

"Yes just don't walk around for too long"

"Ok" I hung up

"Let's go" he grabbed my hand.

I smiled and he opened the door for me. Such a gentleman. We were walking side to side.

" I'm getting a blood transfusion tonight then I might be leaving tomorrow." He said out of nowhere

" why are you getting one?"

"I don't know. They said I needed one. I forgot what they said"

"You need to pay attention" I laughed "I'm probably leaving the hospital tomorrow too. I don't have a fever anymore" I smiled at him

"That's good. I hope it stays that way." He grabs my hand "I hope we will still see each other after we leave the hospital"

"Me too. That's the only reason why I kinda don't want to leave"

"I'll still call you and text you Jen. I don't want to leave either. This is the best hospital visit I ever had" he said while we went on the elevator.

"Ok" I blushed and kissed him right after the elevator closed. I pulled away right before they opened. " dang you have just been all over me these past two days." He said while we walked out the elevator. We walked to the NICU because I like to see babies. They are so cute.

"Can you blame me? You're so handsome. Your lips are a decent size. I can tell you work out. Your broad shoulders. Your abs. Your strong arms. Your strong back that I am obsessed with." I slowly move my hand down his back.

"I don't see myself as that fine. Thanks for boosting my confidence up." He smirks "wait did you say your obsessed with my Back" he laughs

"Yes I did"

"Why"

" I don't know. I just think strong backs are fine"

" I think slim thick girls are fine" he looks me up and down

I laugh" don't do that. I'm not even that thick"

"Yeah ok. Turn around"

" I am not doing that" he gives me a look "Uggg fine. I'll do it"

I turn around. I know exactly what he is looking at. He turns me back around. "And you say your not thick"

"Shut up!" I laugh

"I just wish I was thicker"

"Your thick enough. I love how you look now even with the gown on or off"

I place my head on his chest as holds me.
"I'm so glad you like me how I am"
