The New Student 1)

HELLO GUYS! This is my first ever story and I hope you enjoy! Just a warning: I probably won't post too much because school is going to start soon.   Just warning ya :')   FYI, the art in my thumbnail is my art. Also please vote I would really appreciate it! :>

       It was the start of a new school year, but Zelda wasn't too excited even though she wanted to see her friends she didn't see over the summer.

ZELDA P.O.V

My alarm clock goes off, ugggg,  I sit up.  Man, the start of a new school year...the summer went by too fast. I grab my phone off the side table, 7:00am... WHY DO WE HAVE TO WAKE UP SO EARLY, I groan.  I fall back down into the soft nest of pillows thinking "please, just five more minutes of sleep!"

Just as I lay back down someone slammed open my door. "ZELDA WAKE UP YOU WILL BE LATE TO SCHOOL! "

"Mom... I-- ehhh-- Ngg-- can't school wait?"  "NOPE" mom replies in an enthusiastic tone. I heave myself off the bed, and mom hands me my school uniform. "See you downstairs in ten minutes" she says.

I open my door to walk downstairs, and I'm met with a wonderful aroma of an omelet. In the hall I glance at my appearance in the mirror.  What I see is a tall girl with long golden hair in a gray sweater with a white shirt and navy blue skirt. When downstairs, I plop in the tall black chair near the counter.  As I eat the omelet, the many flavors seep into my mouth... mmmmmm mom's omelets are the best in the whole state of Hyrule!

TIME SKIP>>>>> 

I enter the school building and immediately spot my BFFs  Midna and Mipha!  I run over to them and after a quick greeting we compare schedules.  My schedule:

First period: Band

Second period: Math

Third period: History

Fourth period: lunch

Fifth period: PE

Sixth period: Art

Seventh Period: Science

Eighth period: English

Midna comments "you have English last, that class will be hectic!"  "Yes!" Mipha exclaims, "I have lunch, math, PE and art with you Zelda!"  RING RING RING   The teacher calls from down the hall "all students should make their way to class now!"   "Bye guys" I call over my shoulder as I ran to my first class.  When I open the door Ms. Malon greets me, "Hello Zelda, how was your summer?"  As I unpack my flute I reply, "oh, it was ok."  I walk to the stage and sit next to a new kid that I have never seen before.  "Hello, I'm Zelda, what's your name?" I ask.   He looks at me then looks down and mumbles something.  "I'm sorry, I didn't  catch that, what did you say?" I ask.  This time the boy looks at me.   I couldn't help but notice that his blue eyes were really pretty.  He spoke quietly but still audible "m-my name's Link."  I smile, "well nice to meet you Link!"  Ms. Malon hands out some music that is called Song of Storms, and after some warm up the whole band started to sight read. The song was super jazzy!

I had to climb a mountain of stairs to get to the second floor for my next class.  When I finally arrive, I'm greeted by Ms. Fi.  "Hello Zelda, today we will be setting up for tomorrow, choose a seat anywhere."  I sit down next to Mipha and start to tell her about the new boy in band. Ms. Fi closes the door for the start of class.  She opens her example journal to show us how to start.  When the class starts to write the format down, we hear a small knock on the door.  A red haired boy named Groose jumps to get the door glancing over at Zelda with a smirk.
