Jasper didn't take me to my place, but kept on driving until he stopped in front of a three story home with a very well kept lawn and a back yard.
"Is this your place?" I asked after joining him out of the car.
He nodded and took my hand. "Come on. I'll show you around." He knocked on the door, his face still pale after the incident at the lake.
"Hey," as I said he looked down at me with a little hint of anger still hanging from his electric blue eyes. "Forget about what happened back there. Just...calm down now. For me at least? I don't like you being like this."
He didn't reply, but turned back to the door and knocked on it again, much louder this time. I sighed.
The door opened. His mother, Eveline, stood by the doorway. She smiled as she saw me hanging on to her son's hand. "Well, nice to see you again, Hope."
"It's so good to see you again as well, Mrs. Alby." I replied with a grin.
"Why don't you two come inside?" She offered and stood aside, letting us in. I nodded and we both stepped inside to a very big living room, with a glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling in the very middle. Jasper led me to one of the three sofa sets, and we both sat down. I looked up and to my slight disappointment, saw that his jawline is still clenched with anger.
"Anything to drink?" Eveline asked as she too came to sit in the living room.
"Um, actually I just had a drink. But thank you anyway." I smiled politely and said.
She nodded. "Okay then. Jasper," she turned to her son and frowned. "Jas, honey are you okay?"
"I'm fine, mom." Jasper replied, forcing himself to smile at his mother.
Eveline smiled back rather nervously. "Okay....so, why don't you show Hope around and maybe help her with some lunch? I've got to go to the market." She said and stood up after a slight nod from Jasper. "Okay then. See you soon, Hope."
"See you soon, Mrs Alby." I said.
"Come on." Jasper stood up after his mother left the house, closing the front door behind her. "I'll show you the place."
"Okay..." I said and stood up, feeling slightly scared of Jasper. "Are you still angry?"
He sighed heavily and turned to me. I was glad to see the tension in his eyes has disappeared. He nodded. "I'm sorry."
"Well, don't be like that. It scares me." I said truthfully.
He ran a hand over my shoulders. "I'm really sorry, Hope. But... it's just...." He stammered.
I rested my index finger on his lips, hushing him. "Why don't you just show me around?" I whispered.
He smiled sweetly. "Okay."
We started walking around. The place was.... gigantic. The kitchen, the backyard, even the bathrooms were pretty big. I oohed and ahhed as he showed me every little thing in the house. After stopping by the kitchen to eat some cookies, he offered to show me his room upstairs. I nodded and followed him.
As he opened the door, I gasped. The room... actually it has three parts. The entrance leads to a study and then a small corridor to the right leads to his bed with a large balcony viewing the whole town. A corridor to the left from the study leads to a big bathroom with a bathtub and a Jacuzzi. A JACUZZI!! I couldn't believe my eyes as I ran my fingers on the green wallpaper as I walked around the room.
"You want to sit down?" He suddenly asked, making me jump.
I smiled and nodded. "That'd be nice."
"Come on, then." He led me to his comfy bed and we both hopped on to the bed.
"What do you think?" He asked, his eyes on me while mine ran around the whole bedroom.
"You're rich." The words escaped from my lips before I could stop myself. He laughed.
"It's too much. And by the way, I am not rich." He replied.
I looked at him as though his crazy. "If this is not rich, then what is?"
"I wasn't rich until I found you. Now I'm fulfilled." He said and tucked a lousy strand of hair behind my ear, his face inches away from me.
I smiled. "Why do you have to say something that sweet and make me blush?" I whispered.
"Because you look so pretty and sweet when you blush." He breathed and pressed his lips on mine. My eyes fluttered closed as I returned the kiss.
The familiar sparks of electricity surrounded us as he pressed me against the bed. He hovered above me, his lips gently pressed to mine. My hands wrapped itself around his arms as his ran over to the sides of my neck. His lips travelled itself down and landed gently as ever on my jaw and then my neck. I moaned, without realizing what I'm doing. His lips travelled back up to rest itself on my lips again, but he was so careful to be gentle. His hands travelled down and rested on the hem of my t-shirt.
A pang in my heart broke our kiss as I pulled away. He looked into my eyes, a worried expression creeping into his face. "What's the matter?" He asked.
I gasped for air before answering. "I...I've never done anything like this before. I...I'm sorry, but I'm scared." My voice cracked as I said.
He smiled and kissed my cheek. "I'm not going to hurt you, promise. But if you don't want to, then I'm fine with it." He searched my face.
I shrugged. "If you promise, then okay!" I whispered, blushing.
"See? When you blush, you are so sweet!" He placed his lips back on mine. His hands on the hem of my t-shirt, lifted it slowly, revealing my stomach. His fingers drew circles on my skin, tickling me. I laughed softly through our kiss, making Jasper smile.
"You ticklish?" He asked and wiggled his fingers on my stomach. I screamed with laughter and pushed him off of me. He chuckled.
"Stop!!" I screamed as he did it again.
"Now I know that you are ticklish, I'm never going to stop!" He said.
"No!! Don't!!" I sat up and threw him one of his pillows. He caught it just before it can hit his face.
He chuckled. "If you want to play it that way, okay then!" He said and took a pillow for himself, tossing the one I threw back to me.
Then we started tossing each other pillows and screaming with laughter.
