Growing up is always such a strange experience. You never know what the future has in store for you.
When we were kids all we wanted to do was grow up and be independent but now that we are grown up, there's always this tiny bit of you that wants to be a child again.
As you grow older you really do learn more about life. All the things are not pleasant but they are the truth of life.
This book is written for a contest by nomorescars team. This is based on the second prompt which is to write a short story based on a song.
I have chosen Older by Sasha Sloan as it is a wonderful song that shows us the bittersweet stage of growing up and realising that the world is not as perfect as it seemed when we were young.
This song so beautifully describes that things are not going to be perfect and sometimes you have to let go of someone you love and that's okay.
