Why do I like him again? (Ban x King)

I had updated chapter 10 the smallest bit but it's in the 'smut' part because I forgot I wanted to add it so go back and read it or just try to follow along with the story.

When it came to morning King was still up thinking, he didn't even notice how much the time went by while he was thinking off... Life to say the least.

"Fuck, my head." Ban cursed holding his head. "Morning King." He mumbled still very tired.

"Morning." King yawned.

"Did you even get any sleep?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Nope." King said as he lazily turned himself around to look at Ban.

"You look tired, go to sleep." Ban said looking at his boyfriend, he looked paler than usual which got him confused. "Are you okay? You look paler than normal."

"Yeah, I'm fine, just this whole heat thing is killing me." He admitted biting his lip.

"How do you stop the heat thingy? Is there like a potion Merlin can make for you?"

"No... Honestly I don't think it stops."

"It does stop if you've mated with someone." Gowther chimed in looking at his book.

"I told you to stop reading that book!- wait mated?"

"Yes, most fairy's have a place where their mated, like a scar you could say. It more commonly found on the neck or near their wrist." Gowther read out loud then looked at the two.

"How do you mate someone then?" King asked, Ban smirked and grabbed King's hips making the smaller yelp and blush.

"It happens when the fairy is in the middle off something he'll randomly feel sore for a moment."

"Oh yeah that's what El was talking about." Ban mumbled, King thought for a moment then his eyes widened.

"Mines is on my wrist." King whispered to himself, Ban heard and just ruffled the boys hair.

"Your what, over a thousand or something years old and you don't know anything about this? That's hard to believe." Ban hummed poking King's cheeks, King was almost tempted to bite Ban for annoying him but he just tried to ignore it.

"Well I'll be off, I want to understand how people react to a scare." Gowther walked away closing the door behind him.

Ban smirked and grabbed King's hips again making him squeak again.

"Aww what's wrong?~" Ban smirked, King blushed and looked away.

"N-nothing... I'm just confused on how the mating works."

"Perhaps a bite, or just some..." Ban stopped, forcing King to look at him. "fun..."

"How would you know?" King asked.

"Your sister may have brought it up a few times, she said it was like a scar."

"O-oh..."

King made sure there was no space in between the two, leaning completely against Ban. The fox sin madding hsi hands all around King's body, King shivered at the contact and smiled satisfied. Ban went over the hickey he left on King making it much more noticeable, the sloth sin moaned trying not be be loud.

"B-ban not now." He whispered looking at his boyfriend.

"You're no fun princess." Ban mumbled still sucking on the others neck.

"Later, I'm so tired." the fairy yawned.

"Fine, it will also help you out and I get to have some fun." Ban licked his lips and grinned down at his boyfriend. King blushed closing his eyes ready to fall asleep. Ban wrapped his arms around the others waist while the smaller fell asleep.

The undead man kissed the fairy's cheek then played with his hair for awhile, after a few minutes Hawk entered the room.

"Oh hey master!" Ban smirked.

"Heya Ba- wait what are you doing to King?! I'll be back with the ropes!" She oinked turning around.

"Calm down master, he let me do this don't worry."

"But- fine."

"Do me and favour and don't tell anyone, alright? Or bacon will be on the menu for while." He said the last part with a serious tone.

"Okay!" She panicked mumbling 'piggy trot' repeatedly to herself as she booked it out of the door. Ban laughed  at the pig and shook his head.

There was a knock on the door and Ban ignored it the first few times but when it came to the 6th time he gave up and asked who was it, it as of course it was the captain.

"What do you want now?" Ban asked with a yawn.

"Oh right we're going to need yours and King's help today, I got that's he's not 100% but the tavern is a bit to full and we need some help." The blond grinned.

"Give us while, he only finally got to sleep." Ban said with a straight face.

"You got it. Oh and the scent is coming from him isn't it?" He asked.

"Yeah, it's getting way to strong... And part of the reason why he isn't working." Ban admitted smiling down at the boy in his arms, King seemed to relax and fall into a deeper sleep.

"Well ill leave you two for awhile, but yeah be really need you for the food." Ban chuckled as Captain waved him off and closed the door behind him. Ban hummed to himself and removed one hand from King just to mess with the others hair.

Ban laid their in silence not bothering to get up and somehow he wasn't bored, he smiled at King and messed around with everything he could get his hands on. Maybe it's a bad idea to leave Ban with out someone to be watching him. His hand explored the smallers body yet again, King didn't seem to care normally he'd wake up and punch Ban but he didn't bother.

Slowly without anyone noticing King's scent thanks to the heat had spread throughout the tavern, the costumers started to act weird while some left, the captain was confused then it hit him.

"Oh wow its a lot stronger." Gowther said looking up at the roof. "How odd, the book said it shouldn't be this strong."

"What book?" Hawk asked eating scraps.

"Oh its a book in fairy's, not a lot of people tend to know a lot about fairy's so I was wondering what we didn't know about." He said turning to face Merlin.

"Oh that poor fairy, that does explain a lot." She said crossing his arms with a slight smile on her face. "But you are correct if it gets any stronger he's in more danger than before, I've never known them to get this strong."

"Well he is the King and a lot more powerful than the rest of the fairy's, perhaps that has something to do with what's happening here."

"I'm confused can you explain it?" The small blond asked.

"Oh right, well it's like a cats heat." Merlin tried to explain in the simplest way.

"Well cats are fluffy, wait but King's not a cat?"

"We both know your not this stupid... Its like mating season."

"Ohhhh, how long does it last for?"

"A week." Merlin said looking around the tavern. "Never longer, but this is unusual to say the least."
