I wake up from my alarm
Clock ringing in my ear. I forgot
I had to go to work today I groan and get out of bed.
I walk to my closet and fine my work clothes I change into them and find my black high tops. I put those on and walk into the bathroom I brush my teeth and hair. I put a little bit of makeup on and I braid my hair on both sides. I go to my desk get my lanyard with my ID's on it I unplug my phone and get my skateboard and red bag I use for work because I might get things.

I walk out the room to my brothers room I check on them still asleep. I don't even care if jakes awake or still asleep. I walk down stairs and out the door I start on my skateboard and I check the time 5:37AM how eventful. I arrive at the mall pick up my skateboard and walk to my job.

I check in and put my stuff away in my locker I lock the lock and start putting new things up on the racks/shelfs. After acouple of house later I find myself tired I check the time and I only have 10 minutes until I can leave. I walk to my locker and pack all my things and check the time I walk out and get ready to clock out when I see jake coming in. I role my eyes and clock out and walk right by him. As soon as I'm out side I hop on my skate board and head to the library right before he speaks to me.

As I skate past all the stores I finally reach the library. I stop and
Pick up my skateboard and walk into the library and sit at a table and start reading my book.
I hear a bell from the front door
And I look up and see jake.
I sign closing my book while getting up and grabbing my skateboard.
I walk to the door and try and open it but jake just stands there.
"Move out of my way now jake" I say with a rough voice "No me and you need to talk now".
"No leave me alone and move"
I push through him and run out side onto my skateboard and hurry home.
Once I get home I run up stares to the boys room to see what there up too.
I open the door and see them playing video games. "Hey sis how was work?" Slayer asks.
"It was good how was y'alls day?"
"It was great" he answers then looks at Ashton and smiles.

"Well that's good ik going to my room now" I laugh.
I walk into my room and there's a box on my bed and it has a note on top.

"Dear lillyanna I am so sorry for what I have done. I realized it was a selfish thing to do. I want you to have this.

I put the note down and open the box. There was a tiny box that was red.
I open the tiny red box and gasp..

It was a purple heart ring
"It so pretty" i say out loud.
Not knowing that jake has been behind me for who knows how long.
"It was your favorite color I thought you might like it" he smiles.

"Jake I don't want your presents I don't want anything from you."

"Jake I don't wanna be with you. All I ever wanted was a big brother. I never really had someone who looked out for me. I finally get someone in my life and they end up liking me." I say almost crying.

"Lilly I am so so sorry. I will only ever be your big brother from now on. And I will try my best to move on from everything I promise." He stands there and says.

I smile and hug him, I back away and slap him in the face.

"What the hell was that for?" He practically yells.

"What the hell is this ring for?" I question
"It was just a gift for everything you've done for me and slayer" he smiles.

"Oh well thank you it's very beautiful" I look at him

I put it on my hand and tell him thank you. I walk to the boys room and open the door.

"Hey do y'all want to go out and eat?" I ask

They both say yes with a smile.
"Well get dressed and don't forget to get your jackets it's getting cold outside".
"I don't have a jacket" slayer says.
"Ashton let slayer barrow one of your jackets for tonight and slayer we'll buy you a jacket while were out okay?" He shakes is head and they get ready.

I enter my room and and see jake sitting on the side of his bed.
"Hey me you and the boys are going out to eat tonight get your jacket and let's go" I tell him while getting up to get my hoodie

We all walk down to a 24 hour restaurant. We walk into the nearest one and order our food.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom I'll be right back" I walk to the bathroom and I see the new guy Blake from my school
He looks at me and smiles witch makes me smile
I walk into the bathroom and do what I need to do. I warsh my hand and dry them I walk out messing with my hands and I accidentally hit someone falling on top of them.

I sit up and look down and gasp.
"I am so sorry Blake I should have paid more attention to where I was walking" I get off him and look down.

"Its okay I'm okay Lilly there was not harm done" I look up and he smiles.

"You should give me your number and we can maybe talk later?" He says

After giving him my number I walk back to my table and sit down.
I'm not really hungry anymore and I see the boys devoured their food already.

"Everyone done?" I ask
They all shake there heads
"Okay well let's go then"
I leave the money under the slip where the money goes and we walk home.
As soon as we got home I locked the front door and walked up stares took a shower and went  straight to sleep.
