Chapter 6

(N/H)'s POV
I'm sitting on a sofa outside the office waiting. Ox ask me to leave his office to talk with Lou and Caden in private.
I wonder what Ox is going to talk about with Lou and Caden? I hope he doesn't punish them. I mean we didn't do anything wrong at all. Lou and I were just dancing and singing together and then Caden got upset with me. I don't think Caden should've been angry at me for being with Lou. I mean I know that Lou used to be the mayor of this place and then got overthrown by his own fellow dolls because Lou wanted everydoll to be up to his standards. Everydoll to be perfect like him. But is it really wrong to be with him? I think he's change or at least he's changing. Caden shouldn't be that upset about it. Why does he dislike Lou so much?
While I'm waiting, I finally hear a door opening. It's the door to Ox's office. I see Lou and Caden both coming out with worry expressions, but somehow a bit relieved. Ox must've been not so hard on them, but probably still punished them. Then Ox comes out after Lou and Caden coming out of his office.
"(N/H), you don't have to worry, none of you fellow dolls are in trouble. I just gave Lou and Caden a warning this time, but I want you all to get along which I know you don't have a problem with that.", says Ox.
"Umm...okay", I say confusedly.
"Right, boys?", asks Ox.
"Yes......", Lou and Caden says on the same time with a annoyed tone.
"You dolls may leave and I hope the next time I see any of you again, it will be because of business and not trouble.", says Ox.
All three of us leave Ox's building and it was pretty awkward walking outside with both Lou and Caden.
"So, what did Ox talk to you guys about?", I ask.
"Nothing much, just not to get into a fight again", says Caden.
"Oh that's all?", I ask.
"Yep", answers Lou.
"Oh, okay", I say.
"Well, I guess we should all go home.", says Caden.
"Yeah, we should. It's getting late.", I say.
"I'll walk you home.", Lou and Caden says at the same time.
They both look at each other angrily. I guess they really hate each other, but why?
"Hey, what about you both walk me home tonight.", I suggest, hoping for prevent a fight between Lou and Caden.
"Sorry (N/H), but that doesn't work for me.", says Caden.
"It doesn't work for me either.", says Lou.
"Why not?", I ask them.
"It just can't!", says Caden.
"I don't think it can't work if we all walk together.", says Lou.
"Whatever! I'll walk (N/H) and period.", says Caden.
"What! And why you?!", says Lou.
"Because you're a piece of garbage! You are the worst doll that ever exist in this town!", yells Caden.
"Please! Don't fight again!", I yelled.
"I don't intend to fight unless Lou goes away!", Caden yells.
"Okay, then let's do!" I don't mind getting into a fight with you!", says Lou.
As Lou and Caden are about to get into a fight, I interfered between them.
"Please don't! Caden, you can walk me home today. As long as you don't fight with Lou. Please!", I say desperately.
When I turn around, I see Lou with a confused, but also sad look. I'm pretty sure he wanted to walk with me, but in order to keep him and Caden from fighting and hurting themselves, I have to go with Caden. Especially since, I'm sure Caden will keep on insisting to go with him. I go to face Lou to apologize.
"I'm really sorry Lou. It's best if Caden walks me home for today. I don't want you to get hurt. Please leave Lou.", I ask.
Lou signs. "Okay, I will leave (N/H). Only because you asked me to. I'll be on going home.", says Lou.
"Thank you.", I say.
Then Lou turns around and walks away without looking back. I really feel bad for asking him to leave, but it's has to be done. I then go to Caden's direction who has a somewhat relieved face. I'm guessing because Lou has just left and now he no longer has to deal with him.
"Come on, (N/H). It's getting late. We have to get you home before it gets dark.", says Caden.
"Okay.", I tell him.
Then we both start to walk to the direction of my house. It's really quiet at first, but somehow I find myself the courage to ask Caden something.
"Caden, can I ask you something?", I ask.
"Yeah, as long as it doesn't have to do anything with Lou.", says Caden.
Oh shoot. I guess Caden doesn't want to talk about Lou either.
"But why?", I ask Caden.
"Because I don't want to talk about that jerk!", he says.
"Can you just please stop saying bad things about Lou. What has he even done to you?!", I yelled at him.
"Done to me?!" You mean done to everydoll in this town! Have you forgotten that Lou used to be the mayor of this place you stand beneath your feet?! Lou has hurt many dolls, including me!", he yells.
"Yeah, I know that Lou used to be the mayor. I know that he had the wrong idea of thinking that everydoll should be perfect. I know that I wasn't there when all of this happened. I know that I can't completely understand the pain you went through, but Lou's learned his lesson, hasn't he? He's no longer the mayor of this place, so you have nothing to fear!", I begin to yell at Caden.
Caden is all silent now. He has a combination of both a angry and sad look on his face.
Then Caden leans closer to me. I walk back. He leans so close that I bump onto a wall behind me. I don't know what's he's going to do to me. I close my eyes. Then I feel something on my lips.
I open my eyes in shock. Caden has his lips on mine. What the......?
