   (The next day)

You race downstairs, quickly  combing your (h/c) locks with your slender fingers. You live in an apartment with your roommate, Stacy. She's always supported you even after the rumors spread about something you never did on the internet. She's rather short with an hourglass frame. Most boys want to go out with her while girls want to be her best friend and get advice on certain topics. Despite all the glamour and shine, she's actually pretty brilliant, not to mention edgy. Which you actually admired.

You sigh, slipping your shoulder bag over your head and grabbing your car keys. Stacy looks over the sofa arm, tilting her skull in your direction. She flashes you a confused look, her light pink locks falling in front of her huge sparkling aqua blue eyes.
    "Where are you going?"

"To some Meyer's mansion," you reply walking up to the door. Her eyes go wide.
       "Why?"

      "I got a job there,"
        "As what?"

"A babysitter and housecleaner," you open the door, night air blowing into the room. She automatically shivers and pulls her blanket over her chest.
"You can't pay me to be a babysitter. Good luck by the way," she curls up in the covers, her head turning back to the soap opera on the bright blue TV screen. You roll your eyes and step onto the street.

(Timeskip/ On the road next to the Meyer's driveway)

Darkness had already fallen while gray clouds gather in the sky. You raise an eyebrow at the scene of withering away trees surrounding in the tree line while a hill leads up to their mansion. Suddenly, a loud awful noise comes from your car motor, then it goes completely dead.

You cuss, trying to start the vehicle once more, but it's no use. You quickly get out your cell phone and turn on the flashlight. You get out of your car, hesitantly twirling around to face the steep hill. A shiver goes down your spine as you take in the sight. You bite into your lip and make your way up it.

You silently hum to yourself carefully avoiding sharp rocks stabbing into your combat boots. You hear a couple of growls and animal sounds as you quickly make your way up to the front yard of the house. You lift up your chin, using your light beam to see what the house looks like. Something automatically tells you to run the other way inside your heart.

The house itself is light gray while the windows does to have shutters covering them. Weird. It's style reminds you of a beautiful Victorian home in the 1900s. Something flies by your head, your (h/c) locks moving in front of your left eye. Then, you hear a dog bark rather loudly as scraping pawsteps echo past your frame.

You look away watching a dark shape racing down the hill.
"Who are you?" You hear a gentle voice ask making you look back in front of you. Your eyes lock onto a young boy's frame around your age. He's about your height with pale skin. His blond locks are messy while his sparkling blue eyes light up in the darkness. His outfit constants of a blue t-shirt, a black plead jacket, ripped blue skinny jeans and vans. His earring on his left ear glints in the moonlight.

"I'm (Y/n)," he tilts his skull and smiles. His teeth glint like a sharpened blade.
"It's nice to meet you. I'm Katsu Meyers," he replies, tossing a rock back and forth in his gloved right hand.

"What were you doing to that dog?"

"Um... I was throwing rocks at it to get it away from here," he mumbled, the rock slipping from his hands. It hits the ground with a thump sound.
"You're that new person who my dad hired?" You nod your head in response. He quickly grabs your hand and drags you inside the building.

Katsu drags you into the house. You glance around as you're quickly dragged into a room where the staircase leading to the second floor. You shiver, it's more creepier on the inside than the outside.
"Do you know where your dad is?" You ask, looking in his direction. Unfortunately, he's already disappeared.

You sigh, tightening the strap on your bag as you go through a door to your right. You automatically come to the living room which is designed to fit the vampire timeframe. Still so weird.
"Is anyone here?" You shout into the air. The question bounces off the walls and back to you.

Suddenly, a cold breeze blows your way, sending your (h/c) locks away from your neck. Something wraps around your waist and quickly pins you to the wall.
