[Hours Later]
Lena's eyebrows furrowed as she read the text that sat on her phone. Her best friend had a crush on somebody and she was like the last person to know. That bugged her, a lot, but why did it bug her so much? Kara's a grown adult. They both are, and Lena being clearly jealous over her best friend having a crush on someone is such a 'high school' thing to do. Her phone rang.
"'Mother" it read. Rolling her eyes, she picked up the phone. Her mother was nothing more than just an insane, murderous killer, but she was still her mom??

Time[4:50pm]
"Hello, Mother" Lena answered.
"Hi dear, how are things?" Lillian asked.
"Things are just fine, mother, I must say though, very brave of you using your call on your estranged adopted daughter" Lena said with an annoyed tone.
"Oh don't be so harsh, dear" Lillian said back with a sharp voice.
"I have to go mother, sorry" Lena told her as she ended the call.
Lena put her phone back in her pocket & went back to work. She was spending the day at CatCo & went there after she confronted Winn.

AlexIsGay: who said anything about being gay? you could be bi, pan, or yes, maybe you are gay, point is, you're in love with kara.
LuthorBoss: I'm not and even if I were. It's not like I'd deserve someone like her.
AlexIsGay: alright look, kara is my baby sister. And I would literally kill a man who tries to date her before they get a pass from me, but you, lena luthor, you're different, you're good. You're not Lillian, you're not your mother and you're most definitely NOT, your brother. Okay? You're not Lex. Okay. So . If you're worried about approval, well there we go. You have mine.
AlexIsGay: just don't fuck it up. [wink emoji]
MaggieLovesAlex: Um yeah, Kara's basically my little sister in law, and I want you to know you have my approval too.

LuthorBoss: Fine. Maybe I like her. A little bit. But that doesn't mean Kara feels the same way for me.
