When I opened the door I saw the same Hispanic guy in the house talking to I guess my Dad. He opened his mouth to say something but l instantly gave him a look to not.
"You was gone for a long time?" Dad said
"Sorry?" I mumbled
"This is Gabe." He said introducing the guy
"Hey." I said awkwardly
"Hi?" He said looking confused
"Y'all two know each other?" He asked
"No!" I said
"Ok then, well my friend that you basically insisted on having you meet is on the way so yeah."
"Cool." I nodded going upstairs
I hopped in my bed and took me a bomb nap.
*1 hour later*
I woke up to loud laughing. I mean mugged the door and went downstairs. I saw a guy with half blonde and half black hair and he was holding a lot of bags. He was high key fine. Oof.
"Dang why are y'all laughing so loud." I tried to hide how cute the guy was
"You're Avani right?" The guy asked
"Yeah?" I said slowly walking down the stairs
"Here!" He cheesed handing me the bags
"What are these?"
"A laptop a phone some clothes some shoes and all that other girly stuff girls like?" He shrugged
"Oh I- I don't want these." I shook my head making his jaw drop to the floor
"What why?"
"Because, I don't."
I lowkey did but I wanna see how far this goes.
"Bu bu but these shoes don't come out until December 5 months away and it's everything you want." He whined
"Ion know." I said going to the fridge
"But- you- please?" He stuttered
"Fine if you insist." I say grabbing a sprite
"Great! Also you can call me Uncle X, Jahseh, Jah Whatever you want Cause you know what?"
"What?"
He ran over to me and picked me up swinging me all over the place.
"You are my favorite niece and I'm going to spoil you like my parents never did!" He said
"Wait what?!"
"Nothing." He said putting me down
"Thanks." I said
"J is it ok if she spends the day with me?" He asked
"Um sure." He said
"Cool!" I said
"Come on." He said
"Wait lemme change I look like ass!"
"Language." Dad said
"My bad."
I ran upstairs and picked out my most fire outfit.

I headed back downstairs and caught X staring.
"I'm ready." I said
"But-" Dad started but then got cut off
"Let's go." X smiled
I smiled and walked off with X.
"Bye Dad!" I said
"Bye."
*At Jahseh's house*
"So what grade would you be going to?" He asked
"10th."
"Cool, you wanna go to the mall or get anything or do anything?"
"Didn't you just buy me a crap ton of stuff?"
"Yeah but it doesn't matter."
"Sure then let's go to the mall."
"Bet."
*At the mall*
"Aye what about these?" He asked me holding up a pair of vans
I wanted vans instead of Jordans or pumas or anything cause I wanted to collect them. I only have two but now it looks like I'm going to have 10.
"Alright I think that's it." I said
"You sure?"
"Positive."
We went to the line which moved pretty fast once it was our turn and we set down all the shoes. We got a lotta stares and whispers. After we finished there we walked passed Clair's, for the longest I've wanted my cartilage pierced or my nose.
"Yo can I get my cartilage pierced please?" I begged
"What the fuck is a cartilage?"
I touched the top of my ear showing him where it was.
"Oh yeah sure."
We walked into Clair's and went to the little piecing place.
"Y'all do cartilage piercings?" He asked
"Yeah, I need ID and how old is she?" The girl asked
"I'm 16."
He handed her his ID and she sat me down in the chair.
"Want me to hold your hand mamas?"
I nodded my head and he took my hand into his.
"Alright, 3...2...1 done!" She said
"That wasn't that bad." I said opening my eyes
"You did good mamas."
I blushed and jumped down front the chair and we went shopping for him which didn't take long. We got some food and were on our way home.
