The Braves Intel

Tim and Swish gulp. They look at the sword that was held up to Swishes throat.

"We won't be any trouble." Swish says.

His dark green eyes look desperately into mine. I sheath my sword.

"Good."

I sit down and Tim and Swish sit next to me.

"What are we doing here?" Swish asked.

"Waiting." I state.

Mia soon came into the building. She sat down at our table. Tim and Swish flinched as she looked at them with her emotionless gaze.

"I see you've brought reinforcements. Are you planning an attack?"

I shake my head and pull out my bag of coins.

"I'm not here to attack ye. I just came for thi information."

She takes the bag of money and inspects it. Then she looks at me with her grey eyes. The red cracks in her broken eye glow as red sparks fly from it.

"There is a kin named Feo who has access to Jafro. She delivers things for kins. Ask her to get you what you are looking for and she will bring it to you for a price."

"Arg." I growl.

Getting my powers back is taking longer than I expected and I am almost out of coin. Mia narrows her eyes at me.

"What's wrong? I gave you the information you asked for." She growls.
I look at her.

"I'm almost out of coin." I mutter more to myself than her.

Mia stands up and shrugs.

"Then make a living like the rest of us. Feo will be at the rotting docks at noon tomorrow. Don't keep her waiting."

Mia then leaves the outpost. I stand up and follow her out. Tim and Swish trail behind me.

"What was all that about?" They ask.

I don't answer them. When I get outside Burn confronts me.

"Alright mutant! Prepare to have your mag-"

I hit Burn with my lucky coin and he falls asleep. Tim and Swish laugh. I look at them. My coin floats in the air.

"Sorry boys, but Burn will get suspicious if I don't put ye to sleep too."

My coin hits them both in the head and they fall immediately to sleep. I drag them into the shade of the trees then walk back to my ship.

"Your back! The plan must have worked!"

I jump into the salty water and start swimming around.

"Ye be right! The plan worked. Yet we still be so far from getting me powers back." I say as a wave gently washes over my head.

Bubbles puts me on her back then starts going to my ship.

"What do you mean?"

"Mia told me to meet up with a kin named Feo tomorrow at sun high. Then I can ask her for somethin' that can get me powers back."

Bubbles lets out a tired neigh.

"I hope we can get your powers back Captain."

I don't answer her. Instead I watch as the waves travel through the water. When I get to Blueberry I check my chest to see how much gold I had left. I frown when I saw one pitiful bag of gold left. I needed to make more coin, and I usually do that by selling potions. I grab my bag and tie it to my side. Then Bubbles takes me underwater to the nearest Starflower. I float in-front of the rock and knock on it. The underwater flower opens up and I am again amazed at its beauty. The orb inside it is pink. I reach to take it when Bubbles voice yells in my mind.
