— CASIPHIA BLYTHE —
Something shook me, sending fresh waves of pain spearing through my consciousness. I blinked against the bright light filtering through a window. "Casiphia!" The voice penetrated the fog coiling in my brain. The hand on my shoulder shook me again until I cracked my eyes open again. My heart thundered against my ribcage and I shifted, taking in my surroundings. The light came from a lamppost on a parking lot, but the night had already settled in. My clarity began to surface and the firm grip on my arm loosened. I snapped my head towards Sideswipe,— towards my captor. I reared back, hitting the door of the car. It took only seconds for the reality to come crashing in.
My panic and anger spiked. "It's okay. I won't hurt you." I tried to open the door, but it was locked and it stayed locked despite my best efforts. "Let me out!" I searched for a weapon, anything to harm him with or protect myself with. Sideswipe grasped my arms, bringing me closer towards him. "You kidnapped me!" His grip tightened, his fingers dug into my cold skin. "I am not going to hurt you," he ground out. I could've sworn his eyes flickered. I was near frantic at this point. I had no idea where we were, what he would do to me, what he wanted from me and how long I had been out.
I tried to yank my hands from his grip. "I won't hurt you!" He repeated, more firmly. I narrowed my eyes. "Doesn't mean I won't hurt you!" I hissed. He let out a surprised yelp when I leaped for him and started strangling and beating the Hell out of him. There was nowhere for him to go. Sideswipe struggled and his fingers dug into my skin, trying to pushed me away. "You fucking asshole!" I hit his face again. Blood dripped from his nose and split lip.
I reached for the seatbelt, trying to wrap it around his neck. The door fell open we both tumbled out. "You think you can just kidnap me!" I yelled. Sideswipe grabbed my wrist, tightly enough to bruise. "I'm going to fuck you up! I will find your guns and shoot you back to shit hole you crawled out from! Not even the devil will recognize you once I am done with you!" Sideswipe pushed me beneath him, pinning me down. "For fuck sake, femme! I told you I wouldn't hurt you!"
Adrenaline coursed through my body, blinding me with stupidity. I bit him, my teeth penetrating the skin of his arm. Sideswipe let out a scream. The metallic taste sliding down my tongue and throat. Blood coated my mouth before he tore himself away from me, getting back up and assessed the damage. I spit out the blood and hoisted myself up in a single graceful movement. I was enraged. Beyond enraged even. The audacity! "You bit—" I kicked him between his legs, sending him right back onto his knees. Sideswipe let out a string of colorful curses.
I took a run for it. Sprinting off into the night, unaware of where I was, or where I was going. It didn't matter. I needed to create distance between me and Sideswipe. I needed to find help and hide. I took a sharp turn into an alley just as a silvery car sped down the street with screeching tires.
Dead end. This alley was a dead end. I swirled and didn't move an inch. The car stopped, the cool metal of the bumper touching my shins. I looked around and reached for a pipe, snitching it off the ground. "Casiphia!" Sideswipe aimed a gun at me. He kidnapped me and now had the audacity to aim a gun at me? My temper and rage flared and I slammed the metal pipe onto his hood. He let out a scream and fired a warning shot. It grazed the side of my arm and left a burning sensation. Blood trickled down slowly.
"Put the fucking gun down!"
Sideswipe glowered. "Then don't fucking hit me!" The gun loaded, but he had a slight tremble in his hand. I shocked him. This was not the response he had hoped for, — the reaction he thought he'd get from a kidnapped female . "I will hit you until you let me go, asshole!" He reined in a sharp breath and lowered the gun. "Put it down. I meant what I said, I don't want to hurt you," he repeated with a forced calmness. I bristled. "I meant what I said too! What do you want from me, arrogant piece of shit!"
"A friend..." his voice was a little more than a whisper. "A friend!" I yelled, throwing another blow on his hood. Sideswipe flinched. "This is your definition of building a friendship!?" I prowled around the car. Sideswipe backed off a few steps until he hit the dumpster. "You knocked me out, you kidnapped me and now you want me to be your friend!" I was right in his face. "Back off or I will shoot you!" I laughed coldly and pointed the barel on my head. "Then do it! Shoot me! Show me you have the balls to shoot a girl!"
Sideswipe stood frozen. His blue eyes rounded and glowing as he kept his eyes on me. "Shoot me and be done with all this bother!" I hissed. He visibly flinched. "If you don't intend to shoot me then keep your pathetic threats to yourself, asshole." He lowered the gun and kept it at his thigh. I lifted my head another inch. "Now tell me where I am." Sideswipe stared at me. "Will you hit me if I tell you?" I squinted my eyes. "I will definitively if you don't start talking."
"Wedgefield."
I took a moment to process it. So we were still in Florida but Sideswipe had been driving for quite some hours then. "Take me back." His tongue skimmed his lower lip before he replied. "I'd like to talk if you're a few feet away." My fingers tightened on the pipe. "I'll decide that for myself. Take. Me. Back." Sideswipe cleared his throat. "No." A muscle ticked in my jaw. "No?" The word dripped from my mouth like venom. "I choose you, as delightful as you are..." his gaze slid towards his hood.
"You will take me back." His lip curled in a smirk. "Or else? You're going to keep hitting me?" I could strangle him at this point. Damn the consequences. Why not just kill him right away. "Or else..." I hissed, narrowing my eyes. "I'll slice you fucking balls off in your sleep and stuff them in your throat." He blinked. "And if you think I make fake threats... then this will be a painful lesson for you."
"I prefer not." I bristled. "Then take me back." Sideswipe had the nerve to push me back and create distance between us. "I should've tied you up," he muttered under his breath. I shattered the window of his door. Sideswipe let out another scream. "I dare you!"
"Have you ever considered joining the army? You'd definitely fit in it." I glared. "Let's make a deal." He stuffed the gun in his belt, but I didn't let go of the pipe. "A deal?" I snapped. "You help me and I will take you back afterwards." I growled. "Help you with what? Kidnap more people?"
"No. Help me find someone." I slightly angled my head. "Who?" Sideswipe steadied himself with a sharp breath. "I will tell you if you agree." I huffed. "Nice try." I rose the pipe. "Demolisher." I frowned. "I'm looking for Demolisher. He's a Decepticon, from a planet called Cybertron. I crash landed on earth three weeks ago. I've been traveling through space all alone and now I want a friend."
I just stared. What else could I have done? This male lost his mind. "Oh..." I swayed closer. "So, you're an alien?" He nodded. "This is merely my holoform." He gestured at himself before motioning at the wrecked car. "This is my alt-mode. Humans would refer to us as robots, but were not actual robots. We are robotic organisms" I was half a yard away. "And I am the president of the United States. Good night." I hit his head hard enough to knock him. He collapsed against the rear of the car and lay motionless. "Let's see how much you like this, asshole."
