Alejandro
I stared at the ceiling. I had been doing that for close to 30 minutes. Anything to avoid staring at the flawless beauty by me. I got out of bed and made my way to the shower. I finished up, hurriedly got dressed and practically fled the room. I could've gone to the kitchen but she would've come there eventually. So I found refuge in my office, a place I knew she would never come into,well... somewhat. Might as well get some work done. I don't know what's wrong with me. It's like as the days go by, it gets harder to hate her, to torture, to stop feeling. I couldn't take anymore chances. I had to put as much space as I could between us. Thank God, yesterday was a one time thing. At least now seeing her will be limited to our room. I decided to leave for work, I would probably grab a coffee on the way there. I grabbed my briefcase, suit jacket and was about ready to leave when I realised I was missing something.
"What is it?, what is it?", I thought and then it hit me, "My phone". I had left it in the room. Would she be up?. Nah, she had always loved to sleep in. I made my way to the room and clicked the door open. She wasn't there, huh, she was probably in the shower. I grabbed my phone and was about to walk out when she practically sprinted out of the closet all dressed up. She looked at me and began throwing things in a purse.
"Um...just give me a minute and then we can go"
I looked at her confused. What was she on about?. "What are you talking about?", I asked
She looked at me like I had told her the earth is flat, "Hello, work remember?"
There is no way in hell I'm going through that again. "Absolutely not"
"Excuse me?", she asked
I cleared my throat, "Last time I checked Ms. Prichard, I didn't hire you", I replied smugly
"And last time I checked, you didn't have an assistant", she replied equally as smug
"Which I can find in the blink of an eye", I turned to leave when she ran to me and grabbed my arm
" C'mon Alejandro, I'm good as this and you know it", she pleaded. I looked at her hand on my bicep, so small and warm. I didn't want her to let go but then she followed my line of vision and abruptly pulled away. "I'm sorry", she muttered
I pulled myself out of fantasy world and gave her a hard look. "Fine", I ground out, she started squealing and I cut her off, "But one mistake, and you're out"
"Yes Sir", she saluted me
" C'mon we haven't got all day", I said. We hurried outside got into the car and drove off towards my impending doom.
This is gonna be so much fun.
Can you feel the sarcasm?.

Well that was easy. I thought I was gonna have to tie him up and get him to agree. I was almost too good to be true. Paco parked the car in front of the large building and we got out. Alejandro ahead and me trailing behind like a good assistant should. There is no way in hell I'm gonna mess this up. As soon as we got to his floor, I made my way to the kitchenette to get his coffee ready. I did it as ordered and went to his office. I gave it to him and received my orders for the day. After that, I got to my desk and began my work. I was so immersed in the spreadsheets I didn't notice it was a few minutes past the beginning of my lunch break. I decided to do a little tidying before proceeding to ask Alejandro what he wanted and heading. I was about to get up when I heard the ping of the elevator. I looked to the hallway waiting to see the visitor and was met with a sight for sore eyes.
