The news got to my parents. I confessed everything that had happened. Amarachi and I were expelled from the school.
My parents were so disappointed in me. I destroyed my family's name. I thought, as tears rolled down my eyes.
I am so sorry for what had happened. I noticed you were so lost in thought when I accidentally knocked you down. I will take you to your parent and you need to apologise once more, said Mr. Sam.
Mr. Sam and I got to my house that day and I explained everything that had happened to my parent. Mr. Sam begged my parent on my behalf to accept me back. He got to know my parent more. I received treatment and after some years I was tested negative with the grace of God. I got closer to God and my prayer life increased.
Two years later, I heard that Amarachi Daniel had died of AIDS. Mr. Sam Okoro became a good friend to my family.
Anytime I tried to remember my past, I would cry over and over again because I allowed covetousness, lack of contentment, lust over material things and wanting to be a big girl to overpower me. I have learnt to listen to my parents.
I was not able to go back to school to complete my education. Since I've been tested positive, I began to wash cloths for people and I receive little amount of money from them. I believe God is able to make me a better person. With God all things are possible. I will never forget this experience
