Match had spent the rest of the morning sitting by the pond peacefully putting her feet in and taking them out. She watched the water fall off her foot and into the deep. She watched dragonflies dart around and insects crawl through the rocky shore.

"Help~" a male voice whispered. Match looked up from the water and out across it. Spooked, she got up and began to walk away.
"NO!" He suddenly shouted.
Match stopped. She turned back to the pond.
"Who's there?" She asked.
"Me~" He said back.
"That is like-" Match didn't get to finish.
"Help!" He said.
"What do you, like, want?" Match crossed her arms.
"Hand……. Sh-sh-shakE!" He said.
"But you're like, not real. How can I shake your hand if you like, don't have one," Match crossed her arms.
"P l e a s e," He gasped.

"And why should I like, trust you?" Match asked. He didn't answer, "Hello!?"
Still he did not answer.

Match thought about what Pencil had said.
"See outside myself… The voice is like outside myself. Maybe I can't like, see it since I am like, not a better person yet!" Match thought aloud, "Hey! voice! I... am like a good person!"
Match looked around with a childish grin on her face. Nothing appeared, and nothing more was said to her. Match sighed.

"You want like, a handshake right?" Match asked. She looked at her right hand and flexed it a little, "Fine. Here you like, go," She held out her hand. At first nothing happened, but she felt something cold grab her hand. A wave of chill shivered through her whole body like she had drank something icy. Her emotions automatically changed. She felt nauseous, and began to cough.

Chill out! He thought to her.
Match fell over on her back. He was in her head.
"What's like, going on!?" She shouted out loud while scrabbling to get back up.

I'm here. No panic. Limited energy. Used when talking before.
This is like not cool! Get out like right now?! Who do you think you, like are taking over people's heads!?
I need help. It's easy. Go, around.
Who are you?!
I am, aw.. serious… ly.
You can't be like, David! He never does like, anything!
No choices. Had enough. Go around.
I'm like, not doing squat!

Match suddenly felt her limbs start to move without her will.

Where are you like taking me?!
Shut up.

David brought Match goosteping over to a hill. They climbed the hill and at the top David forced Match to look over at all of the objects.

Fascinating.
Let me go!
Calm
I just wanted to look outside myself not, like inside myself!
Healthy.
What do you, like know about health! You're dead!
Like, Like, Like. Annoying.
It is like, not annoying!
Shut.

David made Match go down the hill. There, they were surrounded by objects. David felt among them in a belonging sort of way. This feeling spread to Match, even though she had always felt like she belonged. Somehow this time it felt...special.

As they walked among friends talking to one another they passed Leafy who was sitting on top of Roboty.
David made Match look as they passed. Their eyes met, and Leafy was making a frown. David looked away. A sinking dread coming from David spread to Match.

As they continued to walk somebody tapped them on their shoulder. Match jumped, but when she turned around it was only Bubble.

"Oh hey Bubble!" Match tried to calm down.
"Hoi Match! Did Pencil foind your boifore she left?" Bubble asked.
"She like did. Oh! And I have like, good news. I am like trying to be like, a better person!" Match said.

Find. Search. Watch. Looking.
Can you be like, more quiet

"Oh Moitch that's woinderful! We coin always strive to boitter ourselves!" Bubble said.
Match seemed to be looking out in the distance.
"Moitch?" Bubble tapped her.

Please. I need him.
A blurred image of Tennis Ball appeared in Match's mind.

"Huh? Oh, like sorry Bubble. I was like, lost in thought. I am like thinking double because nothing," Match was interrupted, "Uh, have you like, seen TB anywhere?"
Match was forced to look back at Leafy, who leapt off of Roboty and was making her way to them. Match started to breathe heavily.

What's like, going on?
No, no, no. She's after me. No, no no.

The dread in his tiny voice could freeze a boil.

Leafy arrived.
"Hey Bubble, Match. What's going on?" Leafy asked.
"Hey Leafy! Match wois just asking me wore Tennis Boil was," Bubble said.
"Hmm. I might know where he is," Leafy said.
