Scorpio, Aries, and Sagittarius looked at Lucy for her signal. Once Lucy confirmed that most civilians and officers were away from the general area, she raised her right arm. With their master's sign, the Spirits performed their Unison Raid and struck the ship. Scorpio's sandstorm, Aries's wool bomb, and Sagittarius's 1000 arrows caused such destruction that multiple houses were damaged and roads were completely demolished. Lucy felt mixed emotions on the amount of devastation but reasoned that these pirates had to be stopped at all costs. Besides, she would make sure that her officers help repair this town, herself included.
The amount of magic unleashed by the Spirits caused tremors through the land and some massive waves; however, Lucy was sure that no innocent person would be injured. Once the Spirits finished their spell, they waited to observe the amount of damage done to their target. Soon, the dust had settled to give the Commander a view of the untouched ship. Lucy's eyes widened at the sight of the proud vessel with no damage, not even a scratch. Lucy was brought out of her daze when she heard Aries's scream. Heading towards Aries, Lucy realized that all of her Spirits were plunged through their stomachs by flying swords.
Sensing that a sword was rapidly approaching her, Lucy used all her strength to jump into the air and shoot down the sword with her gun. Of course, the bullets were also infused with magic. Landing on the debris of a destroyed house, Lucy looked up at the ship and saw multiple hair colors: scarlet, pink, navy blue, and black. The one with black hair had removed his shirt for some reason. Standing up as best as she could, Lucy understood her situation immediately: the mission failed and she was running out of magic.
The pirates on board the ship gazed at the blonde Commander. The Scarlet swordswoman looked towards her captain and asked, "Natsu, are you absolutely sure you want us to capture that commander? You do realize how many people will be after us if we do?"
The pink-haired captain known as 'Natsu' smirked. Keeping his eyes trained on Lucy, he replied with a simple "yes."
