The explorer made my ears bleed

Y/N's P.O.V.

I woke up with a slight ringing in my ears. My head was throbbing in pain. I could see a dark, shadowy figure behind my closed eyelids. I wanted to open my eyes but I honestly couldn't be bothered. Sleep sounded so much nicer than properly waking up and facing today's challenges.

"Hey Y/N, is that you?" I heard a voice asked softly. It was like if the voice talked any louder, I would shatter into a million tiny shards of glass.

I groaned in reply. "Yeah... What happened...?" I opened my eyes and saw Daniel with a worried expression plastered on his face.

"Alex took over... I had to deal with him," Daniel said rubbing the back of his neck.

I whipped my head around, looking at my surroundings. My head was on Daniel's lap and he was sitting down at the roots of the oak tree. There were still people being dropped off at the front gate so school couldn't have started yet. I was lying down in an extremely uncomfortable position.

I looked back up at Daniel's concerned emerald orbs.

"Are you okay?" He asked, still speaking in a soft voice.

I gave him a small smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. My head hurts and my ears are ringing. What did you do to get rid of him?"

A guilty look spread across his face and he looked toward the front gate.

"I, uhh..." he started to giggle.

I heard Ester chuckle as well.

"Do you REALLY want to know?" He asked looking back at me.

I nodded my head in response.

He sighed. "Okay, I'll tell you," he said with a smile on his face.

Narrator's P.O.V.

~~~Daniel's flashback~~~

Alex stood up in Y/N's body challenging Daniel, which wasn't a very smart idea since Y/N was at least 4 inches shorter than the male.

"Alright," Daniel said, standing over Y/N's small figure and cracking his knuckles, "let's go."

Alex glared at Daniel, trying to intimidate him, but Daniel just smirked. Alex went to throw a punch at Daniel but Daniel easily caught his fist.

"MOTHERF-" Alex started to yell but his mouth had been covered by Daniel's large hand. Daniel pushed Alex to the ground with ease and people started to crowd around the scene. Alex squirmed underneath the male put to no avail.

"Oh my God.... Is Y/N having another mental breakdown?" "Thank God Daniel is here. Otherwise we might get hurt," "Yeah, but it's unlikely a girl her size could do any damage," the crowd of teens whispered as they watched intensely at the scene before them.

"Okay Alex... what are we going to with you?" Daniel asked even though he knew Alex wouldn't be able to reply. Alex continued to squirm and licked Daniel's hand.

"Ewww...." Daniel said taking his hand off Alex's mouth. He had only realized he had done so when it was too late. Alex had his arms free and slapped Daniel hard in the face. There were gasps heard all around the now quite large crowd.

"Haha!!! In you're ugly face fucktard!" Alex screeched. Daniel was getting very annoyed at this point and pinned Alex's arms above his head, making sure most of his weight was on Alex but not so it would hurt Y/N when she switched back.

"Alex," Daniel growled, "that wasn't very nice," he glared at the asshole. Alex just smirked in reply.

"It's very unlikely you'll do anything bad to me. Since I look like your precious Y/N," Alex said, narrowing his eyes at Daniel.
