The Choosing Ceromony

MINX'S POV:

All of the 16 year olds were in one building together, I was looking for one. His name was Anthony. I've had a crush on him for a while but since we were different factions we weren't allowed to date. It's not like he ever asked me out or anything, but I know we are suppose to be together. The ceremony started with the Amity leaders reading the importance of the event. Saying parents shouldn't hate their child for "branching out" I know that parents will fill hate maybe even sadness but the Amity think that peace is the only emotion people should feel. I find myself being hypocritical when I like Anthony who is Amity, but I've seen it in him he doesn't wanna be Amity he wants to be Dauntless just like me.

CHILLED'S POV:

Each boy and girl were getting called up to choose which faction would be their home. I was chosen after a while and stood up. My father was staring at me he was the one who started the ceremony today next year it's gonna be Abnegation. He handed me the knife and his face said I'll meet you home bud.

I cut my hand and put it over the Amity jar I looked at the crowd and saw the one face that changed my entire decision.

MINX'S POV:

Anthony saw me and for the first time we communicated my fave must've said come to Dauntless because he immediately put his hand over the Dauntless jar and let his blood fall in. My heart was probably jumping out of my chest.

CHILLED'S POV:

I hoped I made the right decision the look on my fathers face was almost as mad he's ever been. But he was in the middle of the crowd so I knew I was fine. I walked to the Dauntless side and saw a lot of other Amity join them I saw my best friend Steven, Anthony, John, and Tom. Then I saw Michelle as we were talking. I decided that since I've liked her time to talk to her. If I'm gonna be Dauntless might as well do my first daring act.

MINX'S POV:

The ceremony was over and it was time to go to Dauntless HQ. There we were allowed to change our names and find our living arrangements. But before we went I saw Anthony

"Hi Anthony"-M

"Hey Michelle"-A

"So me and some buddies are gonna go and hang out later wanna come"-A

"Sure"-M

Did he just ask me on a date? I mean his friends will be there, but he asked me to go with him. But there will be some things I need to take care of first I wanna change my name.

CHILLED'S POV:

Almost all the new Dauntless and some old ones decided to change their names. Steven changed his to Ze, John changed his to Smarty, Anthony changed his to Galm, and I changed mine to Chilled. I then saw Michelle. She changed her name to Minx. After we got our information for where we were living we were sent to the living quarters. I got paired up with my friends Smarty, Galm, Ze, and Tom. They said they were tired so me and Minx were going out by ourselves. This is gonna be awesome.
