It's Friday evening with people currently crowding around the arena entrance to buy their tickets while the others that had purchased their tickets are hanging out inside the arena. All of them are excited for the upcoming race event that will start in less than thirty minutes, so they're all currently buying their snacks, hanging out with their friends, and talking to new people. Basically, everyone is killing time before the race starts. However, there's no denying the hype among the entire arena since everyone is talking about a certain racer they're all dying to see tonight, and they all call him the Undefeated. Whether they're a fan or not, everyone is aware of this racer's skills with his impressive perfect winning streak. Not only that, but tonight is the final race event of the year, which means that the championship will be announced tonight.
"You're seriously not coming, Minho?" Changbin whined loudly through the phone.
"For starters, I'm not a fan of that kind of stuff, and I'm working right now," Minho sighed dramatically through the call.
"Sorry, I forgot. Anyways, do you know if Seungmin or Junyong is free tonight?" Changbin huffed while he mentally prayed that one of their other friends are free, so he doesn't have to suffer hearing his brother's fanboying alone. After all, Changwon's favorite racer made it to the Top One-Hundred Racers list, who are all about to compete tonight for the title of the championship.
Minho goes silent for a while while he sends a quick text to the Kim brothers, but only one person responds to his message, "Junyong said that he's currently working on his story assignment that's due on Sunday, and that antisocial baby never answers his phone, but we all know that he hardly goes out unless he has to finish his photo assignments. So, yeah. You're stuck alone. Sorry, baby Binnie~! I'll make it up to you next time!"
"Minho, you can go on your lunch break now. Next time, refrain from using your phone during your shift," Changbin heard Minho's boss said in amusement through the call, and he shook his head in amusement when he heard Minho apologize to his boss sheepishly.
"Anyways, have fun! Oh, don't forget to tell me if someone finally beat that Killa asshole." Minho even has the audacity to laugh at his pain while Changbin huffs loudly on purpose, so his older friend can hear how irritated he is right now.
"Please. I always tell you everything," Changbin rolled his eyes. They bid their farewells, and they end the call at the same time. Changbin's sulky face remains visible at the thought that none of his friends are going to be with him tonight while his older brother, Changwon, approaches him from the V.I.P booth.
"Why the pouty face?" Changwon gave Changbin his V.I.P. pass, and the younger boy pocketed it into his Supreme fanny pack hanging off his shoulder. However, Changwon laughs loudly because he could already guess why Changbin isn't happy at the moment. "Did your friends refused to come?"
