Deidara was always smiling, his perfect white teeth gleaming as bright as the sun. His golden hair attracting the attention of a thousand stars. It was always just him and his sister. But that's all he needed to be happy. Although all he had was his sister, he felt like he had nothing. But all of that changed. His sister was a jinchuriki. Meaning she had a tailed beast inside of her. The two tails. But one day a missionary group, that called themselves the Akatsuki killed her. Since her death, Deidara has always felt a chunk of his heart missing. He felt like he had nothing. They never got the two tails power though, her body never being found. The Akatsuki gave up looking, but Deidara didn't. Eventually he found it, but his village decided to seal it inside Deidara himself. He was now a jinchuriki and he was expecting the Akatsuki to show their faces any day now, and Deidara worried greatly.
He was only 19 at this point and not ready to take on any of them. It didn't help that his sister was the only one who would ever train with him. He spent lonely hours training by himself. Never getting quite strong enough. He was kicked out of the academy too. Everyone called Deidara a freak of Nature, one that should just die. He never understood why he got the hate, but his sister was praised by all. Then, when he became the two-tails host, he received more hatred.
Too much one day, and he bombed his village and he stole one of their forbidden jutsu's while he was at it. He was going to set off to find a new home. One where the Akatsuki had no idea where he was. He was gliding on the back of a beautiful clay bird. He glided in the gusting winds of powerful heat coated in strong wind air forces. He was sitting there appreciating his art, and how it peacefully flew. When all the sudden a kunai was thrown at his head. He heard it coming in just the nick of time he dodged it but that's when he fell off his bird, coming closer and closer to the ground. His body landed with a hard thud on the soft ground. He was knocked unconscious for a few seconds.
He opened his eyes he saw a beautiful redhead carrying him bridal style. He closed his eyes before the redhead noticed he was awake. He was carrying him so gently. All the sudden he felt the redhead stop moving. He felt the arms tighten and running. At several points he almost fell. He forced his eyes to stay closed, but he opened them to see what was going on at one point and he saw a black cloak with red clouds.
He struggled to push away from the redhead once he realized he was part of the Akatsuki. The redhead noticed the pushing and stopped abruptly. Sending Deidara jolting forward but still in his strong but gentle grip. The redhead dropped Deidara onto his butt and stared at him mercilessly. He pulled out a scroll and summoned a weird looking puppet. While the redhead was doing so, Deidara took a minute to study his enemy.
He looked so young. A year older than Deidara at best. His red uncontrollable hair short. Once the summoning Jutsu was complete the redhead opened his mouth, saying something. Deidara listened eagerly to hear his voice, "Alright blondie, get in the puppet. I'm not your enemy. I'm trying to help. My organization is after you, but after seeing you ability I decided to let you live. I believe your special," He explained in his soft but low voice. One that soothed Deidara's racing heart. It reminded him of his sisters voice. Always soft, but in a low tone.
Deidara blushed at how the puppet boy felt at him. He thought he was special. No one other than his sister thought that way about him. Deidara stood up and opened his mouth, trying to hide his blushing, "I have a name. And it's not 'blondie'. The names Deidara. I have three rules starting now: No weird nicknames, don't ask questions about my past, and lastly, I'm not taking orders from you," Deidara said as coldly as he could without blushing. He didn't know why he kept blushing, or why his chest hurt around him. It was a feeling he never felt. It was strange but at the same time he secretly loved the feeling.
