If Deidara was a Jinchuriki

"With who?!" Deidara cried. The leader smirked. "I was thinking Sasori. He told me the other day that he cares for you. I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping you out, especially if it means the only way you can live," Deidara shook his head. "There's gotta be another way! I'm not ready for a family! I don't want kids! No, there has to be another way!" He begged. In the end the leader, who revealed his name to be Pein, won the argument. He convinced Deidara to have a baby with Sasori. Sasori had been informed later that day and he was just as shocked as Deidara was. He gave the same reasons, he didn't want a family, he wanted another way. But again, Pein won. "Deidara has to get pregnant this week," Pein explained to them. "This is already going to be a long process, don't make it longer than it has to be."

Deidara was pregnant and with Sasori's baby nonetheless. His pregnancy brought the two to a happy couple. But one day, Deidara had a sudden mood change. He got really upset and started bawling into Sasori's chest out of nowhere. When he had finally calmed down enough to talk he said. "Are we keeping the baby?" Sasori looked shocked. "Of course we are. We are going to be a family. I promise it'll all work out" Sasori said kissing the blondes forehead. Deidara sniffled and shifted onto Sasori's lap and fell asleep peacefully there.

Deidara gave birth to the baby that day. When Deidara woke up cradling his new baby that was a girl. Sasori and Deidara decided to name her Mei. It was named after Deidara's sister. After a day or two of Deidara being recovered Pein was ready to perform the jutsu. Deidara was sitting on the couch holding the baby and sitting in Sasori's lap. Pein walked up and informed Deidara. Deidara handed the baby to Sasori and gave him a kiss on the forehead. Deidara stood up and was ready to go, but still worried. Sasori set the baby in the crib they had next to the couch. Sasori grabbed Deidara by the hips and spun him around. Deidara tried to push away. It was hard enough to go do this and Sasori was just making it harder for Deidara. Sasori got down on one knee and proposed to Deidara. Deidara jumped into Sasori's arms and kissed him passionately on the lips. Pulling back for air, Deidara mumbled "Yes." Pein took their baby and got a syringe and drained just enough blood from the baby, not enough to hurt her, but to perform the jutsu, the whole time Sasori glaring at Pein, Deidara clenching Sasori's hand worriedly.

Pein doused the blood in his hand and drew a circle around Deidara in it. Sasori took a step back to the doorway and watched as Pein performed the jutsu from the doorway, Konan right behind him. Pein did the hand signs and an array of lights surrounded them. Sending screams from every direction from the blonde. Sasori biting his lips with a tear or two escaping. Pein was holding a small jar and that's where the beast had resided once the jutsu had been over. Deidara collapsed to his knees. Sasori, worried, handed the baby to Konan and said, "Go away, keep her safe!" He rushed to Deidara. He caught him and turned him over. He wasn't breathing. After about four minutes of Sasori denying it and trying to shake Deidara back to life, he gave up. He walked furiously toward Pein and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. He was so mad and upset. He rose his fist. Suddenly he heard Deidara coughing awake. Sasori turned around to see if it could really be true, that he really wasn't dead. He wasn't.

Sasori released the grip he had on Pein and ran toward the blonde. Sasori hugged him tightly and sobbed in the hug. Sasori grabbed the blondes face that was still coughing for air. And kissed his on the lips. He pulled back and Deidara was panting heavily, desperately needing air. When Deidara had finally caught his breath he hugged Sasori back. Sasori started crying again, "I thought I lost you, I thought you were gone for good this time." Sasori said between small sobs stroking Deidara's messy hair. Deidara just patted his back and abruptly stopped. He stood up and tried to run but fell into the wall. Sasori chased after him and caught him.

"What do you think your doing?!" Sasori said picking him up and setting him down on his wobbly legs. "Where's Mei? Where is she?" Deidara said panicking. He didn't give Sasori a chance to answer before he tried running again. He collapsed into the wall. He started sobbing. "My baby girl! Where are you?!" Deidara yelled trying to get to his feet. Sasori caught up with Deidara and tried explaining that she was upstairs with Konan. Deidara gasped and wheezed for air. He turned around to head toward his baby girl. When he finally reached the top of the stairs he was gasping for air. Clenching his shirt. His vision going blurry for a second.

He collapsed into the wall holding the small railing trying not to fall. Deidara saw the room and approached the door with tears of pain and worry flooding from his eyes. Trying desperately to turn the knob to the room where his baby was, he kept failing. His blurry vision getting in the way with the strong pain he felt in his chest. Sasori opened the door for him after a while to reveal the small baby sitting peacefully in Konan's lap.

Deidara walked up with a smile on his face and big eyes. He grabbed the baby from her arms and brought her to his face. She was smiling and giggling, sputtering nothing but gibberish. He cried and pulled her into a hug. His hand holding protectively around her fragile head and her face buried into his chest. He dropped to his knees with Sasori behind him rubbing his back.

The baby was officially eight months old and her hair was growing in a tan blonde. She had big slanted brown eyes and a round face with puffy lips. Deidara and Sasori had their wedding not long after the jutsu and Deidara had finally returned to his smiling self. His heart fully restored too.
A family to replace the one he lost.
