He already loved being around the redhead. His cool attitude and he was madly curious about what his smile was like. He loved his red hair, his puppet he called "Hiruko", and his skin tone even! Deidara couldn't point out a single flaw on him, besides that he was in the Akatsuki. The very organization that killed his sister. There was even a possibility he killed her, and Deidara knew that. But nonetheless Deidara already had such high respect for him, he was gonna start calling him "Danna". Deidara decided to break the silence by saying what had been on his mind for a while.

"Would you mind if I asked you a question?" Deidara asked. Sasori said, "Shoot," Deidara shook his head trying to hide the hurt he felt inside whatever was left of his broken heart, but even being around the redhead this little amount of time was healing it somehow. At this point, trying to hide his blush was inevitable. "Do you know who killed my sister? It was someone from your organization. She looked like me, her hair was worn low. Fair skin. Jinchuriki of the two tails. Her voice was low. Her name was Mei." The red scoffed, "No, I'm new to this organization. I Just joined. My names Sasori. And I'm not listening to your stupid rules either. Now wipe that blush off your face, and get in the puppet. Trust me, I'm doing you a favor. You have no idea. Your just a brat," He said almost blushing back. That's when Deidara realized why he'd been blushing. He loved him. He yearned to be with him. Deidara tried to flush the feelings away. Tried to hide them in the moment. He decided getting in the puppet would be the best thing. It's a win, win. He could hide his blush, and day dream about Sasori all he wanted. And Sasori wouldn't get mad at Deidara for being defiant.

They had returned to a cave. Sasori peeled the seal away and entered. He had released the summon and Deidara revealed himself after the cloud was gone. He stood in the center of a variety of different people. He looked around and saw Sasori. He lied! He lied to him. Deidara charged at Sasori to beat him up, "YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE PROTECTING ME!!!! You probably lied about my sister too!!!" He yelled with his fist raised. Letting some of the two tails be seen. Blue flames radiating off his boiling skin. Then suddenly he felt a strong less gentle hand grab his arm before he could punch him.

Deidara turned around and saw an albino. Gray hair, pink eyes he had it all. Deidara growled at him, It coming out more like a hiss. He tried to run away when he felt a strong force pull him back. He had been caught in two strong arms wrapping around his chest. Deidara squirmed and squirmed but was running out of air. With his vision blurry and his movements slowing he drifted off to sleep, still finding it hard to breathe.

Deidara gasped awake. He awoke in an unfamiliar territory. The floods of memories didn't return to him until he saw Sasori sitting next to him on the bed. Normally, Deidara would have blushed, but this time he was just angry. Boiling anger turning his skin red he shot up and smacked Sasori across the face. In the split second his hand was on his face, he could feel how soft his skin really was. He pushed those feeling aside, hoping to see the hurt in Sasori's eyes. Sasori just glared at him. Sasori shook his head and put his hand over where the blonde had smacked him. It throbbing. Deidara could tell. He secretly thought "Good." Sasori got out of the bed and walked off.

Sasori returned with finally a hurt expression. Deidara smirked. He tried to sit up out of bed but the sudden pain in his chest stopped him. Deidara coughed at the pain, gasping at it. He collapsed back into his pillow. With difficulty breathing Deidara struggled to stay awake. He noticed Sasori was still standing in the doorway with a perfect outline of Deidara's hand across his face. Deidara spoke. "Why did you lie to me?" Deidara said, tears forming in his eyes. Deidara tried to tell himself that it was because of the pain, not because he had felt betrayed. Sasori shook his eyes. He looked worried at himself like he was about to do something risky. Deidara had no idea. Sasori walked up and removed Deidara's headband. Deidara tried to stop him. He raised his arm up but the pain stopped him. He winced and howled out in pain. Gasping for breath.

Sasori examined the headband. He walked over to the counter and grabbed a kunai. Sasori pointed it at Deidara. "I didn't mean to 'betray' you. I tried to help, like I said. This was my way of helping. I was going to take you here, hoping you would reveal your powers with clay and everyone would see you the way I did earlier. How special your jutsu is. I don't care if you have a beast inside of you, I'll always think your beautiful." Sasori said. He didn't mean to say beautiful. Deidara's face turned as red as Sasori's hair. He glanced to the side, avoiding eye contact with his newly found friend. Sasori dropped the kunai on the ground and blushed just as badly. He cleared his throat and said, "No, I didn't mean to say beautiful I meant.... Strong! Yeah that" He said trying not to stutter the entire time. Deidara just laid down, at this point too tired to care. He rested his eyes and accidentally fell asleep.
