I was distracted during the whole lecture. I kept thinking what Namjoon
said earlier.

What does he mean 'it's you'?

I came back to my senses as the bell rang for it was now the break time.

I noticed Taehyung didn't come back since then. I started getting worried about him.

So I decided to text him.

Why didn't you come back
for the lecture?

I waited for a few minutes but there was no reply.

I started getting more worried. I thought of asking the boys about him.

I turned towards Namjoon's and Jungkook's seats, but I noticed, they already left the classroom. So, I decided to check up on Taehyung myself.

I went outside, towards my locker to keep my books before going to find Taehyung.

There were some robbery cases last year. So, the school installed password-encryption devices on every locker.

As I entered my password and opened my locker, I saw an unfamiliar hand-written note.

I took the paper and started reading it.

“I don't know what you'll think of me after reading it, but I've already made up my mind to confess my feelings to you...

It hurts, you know... It hurts to see other people getting so close to you. But here I am, telling you my feeling through a stupid letter instead of telling you in person.

But you know why,
because I'm afraid y/n.
I'm afraid you'll reject me and
I'll lose you as a friend, too.

If you're not comfortable

I didn't even notice, I kept smiling as I read the letter.

It was the first time that someone confessed to me.

Just by reading the letter, I could feel the emotions put by the person who wrote it. I couldn't stop smiling and blushing.

I wanted to know...

Who wrote this letter?

I searched for the name in the piece of paper but failed. I started looking everywhere, around me, in the hope, I can find who the person behind this letter is.

Suddenly, my eyes fell on a guy who was standing alone at the end of the hallway.

Jungkook quickly looked away as soon as he saw me looking at him.

A quick realization hit my mind.

"It's you."

I remember what Namjoon said to me earlier.

So the person, Jungkook has a crush on is.... ME???

I was shocked and happy at the same time. But that's when another thought hit my mind.

Does that mean, this letter is written by Jungkook?

Wait.

Did my crush just confessed to me?!

I almost screamed in happiness.

You stupid! CALM YOUR ASS DOWN!!
It's still not confirmed that Jungkook wrote this letter.

I mentally cursed myself for getting over-excited this soon.

I took a deep breath and went towards the end of the hallway where Jungkook was.

I greeted him with a smile but he got startled as soon as he saw me in front of him.

"Hey..." he greeted with a nervous smile.

"May I ask you something, Jungkook?". He nodded with a bit of hesitation.

I bit my lip, thinking, how to make it less awkward.

Oh C'mon! how hard can it be to ask your crush if they have a crush on you or not...

"Do you have a crush on me?"

"What?"

Oh fuck it! My whole life is awkward.

I mentally facepalmed myself.
Way to go, y/n...

"I-I mean... You have a crush on someone, right? Who is it?"

He looked away, blushing. His cheeks turned into a light shade of pink.

I was just hoping it wasn't someone else. I was slowly getting afraid that it wasn't me.

I swear, I will not be able to control my tears if I hear someone else's name from him.

Please, Jungkook. Please say it's me.

He turned his eyes at me with a smile.

"It's-"

"I found this letter in my locker."
I said, showing him the piece of paper, cutting his words between.

"I think someone confessed to me".
